The private property trove is returning to the shop "The Roof Over" this year and once again will have offerings for those who have private properties. This year, we've expanded the offerings to include some offerings to MCP properties.

While we are still waiting for some approvals, this is the list of offerings that thus far have been approved:

Available to ALL property owners
3 - Move a Property
3 - Birds or Bugs or Sea Critters (Sea Criters Water-based Properties only)
3 - Artwork Addition
3 - Mood Messaging
3 - Food Additions (5)
3 - Mailboxes

Unavailable to MPC
3 - Shrine Additions
3 - Workshop Additions
3 - Room Add

Like the regular Trove, the Private Property Trove will begin on the 11th and end on the 30th.

This is all very exciting. My hat's off to you Thandiwe, and everyone, I know a lot of work goes into this. I adore any opportunity to improve the property as I, and I know everyone who has one, loves them.

Very excited for this! Thank you for listing some of the items expected, and I look forward to (hopefully) that list expanding. There are a couple on here I that I am very excited for, and others that I know friends have requested, so thank you for some of the additions.

One of my property rooms actually has three specific birds referenced in it so I know exactly where it'd go if I'm one of the lucky ones for the birds, haha.

I believe there was a teaser at Simucon this year about a new bird system, similar to bugs/aquatic life, where .. feathers? and eggs? may be found as a result.

(My understanding is limited as I only saw a brief mention of it in this server somewhere and I did not see whatever session that was announced, if it was streamed.)

Jeepers Creepers (Full name Jeepers Creepers Where’d You Get those Peepers) is a new script for a set of bird watching binoculars. With the binoculars, you’ll be able to find birds in the area. There’s a random chance to find feathers and eggs. The eggs will work in the various cooking systems. Birds will be able to be found all across Elanthia. It is a system just like Life Aquatic and Bugs on Parade.

I do want to note that I wasn't able to get the 'egg' finding done this year, so it will likely be next year. I just... ran out of time.

I imagine that the new town would have to have the environment for it to fit. I couldn't move my banyan tree property to somewhere like HW, for instance.

I'd love to see some of these offerings OTS for a reasonable (HESS-like) prices. There's a lot of competition for some offerings, especially now that the middle class properties have access to it even though they're not private properties. It's really odd they would be eligible to be moved.

They don't want them to be unlimited, and we know limited offerings in HESS only cause complaints.

We had limited offerings at HESS, which turned into Spin Night, which turned into unlimited.

Let's just accept that unlimited will be the end and move there now.

I'd like to see this raffle setup... OTS being unlimited in the shop for "reasonable" prices.

There should be some distinction between a real private property, which were exceedingly more expensive vs the bungalows. They didn't have access to these upgrades last year, they shouldn't have access this year either.

MCP can't have shrines or workshops. MCP can't add rooms. Seems like quite a bit of distinction between them.

Which is a good reason it should be limited to real private property owners. Or just offer them for sale at a reasonable price OTS so people don't have to fight over things.

I think the current distribution method is perfect. We've been through many iterations, and this one doesn't allow people to screw others over. Only way to make it better is to attune the wins.

I assume this trove operates as the premium trove and you can only win one time which is also a plus.

Trove has been one win with then a blackout to win again for a few days. One win per account per event would inhibit capricious entries a bit more.

Last year, you could only enter once per raffle (as opposed to multiple tokens for one raffle) but you could enter every raffle. Traditional trove and property trove. I don' recall a restriction after a win but on that point my memory is foggy.

Yeah I don't see anything on the wiki about not being able to enter after winning for the EG troves.

I want to say winning a raffle didn't restrict you from entering another - but like I said my memory on that point is foggy.

There were no lockouts on the private property trove wins last year. You could theoretically win all of them, though the odds would be astronomical for that to happen. The only limitation is the entrance portal into the room only allows PP owners.

Seems to me like a lot of the older homes are very connected to their locations and moving them destroys history, and is a much bigger suspension of disbelief than moving a bungalow. No one would blink twice if you moved a bungalow.
