Thought I’d throw these out there ahead of the August run.

  1. It absolutely KILLS me that every time I enter Endless I will either die or surrender, and the death/surrender will be a blemish on my Duskruin arena record. If someone reaches round 26 on Endless, a death or surrender should not go on their record

  2. Can we get a PRAY CHECK or similar command that shows how many uses are left without actually using one?

If anyone has other suggestions to make Endless even better, post them here!

  1. Can we get some new titles for advancing higher? Round 150 is the new Round 100

  1. How about making things more spicy and having multiple creatures spawn at the onset of each round as you progress?

Maybe something as follows:

Rounds 1-50: 1 creature
Rounds 51-100: 2 creatures
Rounds 101-150: 3 creatures
Rounds 151-200: 4 creatures
And so on…

This would do a couple of things:

a) Significantly increase difficulty

b) Reduce the ability to use cheesy tactics 1 vs 1 against critters

c) Reduce the need for “good luck” with your spawns to reach high rounds. “Good luck” becomes exponentially more improbable as more critters spawn each round. You’ve either got the power to advance or not

d) Probably would be a heck of a lot of fun

  1. When people WATCH from the bleachers, make the list of people currently fighting in the arena include a special tag to indicate those individuals who are in Endless mode.

We can also add basilisk stare RT/immobilization stacking to the list. It effectively locks you down for a minute or two at a time and you need to get an immediate stun in afterward by spamming the attack macro before they do it again. I dread the basilisks in Endless because they’re so tedious to kill

  1. Let’s make the arena combat room a node. We spend lots of time there, and it’s a paid event - no need to penalize us experience. This suggestion applies to both regular and endless mode

If nothing else for this run, it would be amazing if surrendering or dying past round 25 on endless didn’t mess up your stats in “event view Duskruin” / for titles

I’d suggest some new title tiers based on the highest round achieved. Just throwing out some suggestions:

Note that the current titles drop the “of Duskruin Arena” after round 125. I would continue leaving this off for higher round titles, which gives the titles a bit more cache.

Round 175: Revered Champion

Round 200: Unstoppable Victor

Round 225: Exalted Conquerer

Round 250 (pre-name title): Endless (ie, Endless Idalias)
