This came up on the Feeder Frenzy channel, figured it deserved its own post.

It would be nice if the Pawnshop would dispose of trash items when we try to sell, so our bags don't fill up with junk, requiring additional steps. Here's how it could look like. #QOL

The pawnbroker says, "That's basically worthless here, Grymli. Maybe you can find a buyer somewhere in town, but I doubt it. As a convenience, I'll go ahead and place it in the trashcan for you. If you'd like to keep it, you can retrieve it from there."```

I like it! Saves having to drop all those ripped cyan cloaks.

I think for trash just default all crappy items to a value of 1 silver so it can just be sold and trashed.

Id even pay a silver to trash it

I would hope an opt-in system if it is implemented!

I'd want it to work like the appraise sell system for overprice items. So sell or appraise -> that's worthless, sell again and I'll chuck it -> sell again to dispose. It keeps the flow of up enter to sell while not losing things on the first interaction.

it's about consistency. And it's more I might want to keep it if the pawnshop was going to give me literally nothing. "Repeat the command to throw away" is a standard construct in the game

For me it’s more I don’t want decisions made for me. I want to have to give input.

That kind of just feels like the current system to me. If the pawnshop doesn’t want something, you have to input another command. Either “put item in bin” or “stow item”.

If you had to “sell again in 30 seconds to confirm”, that’s the same amount of effort.

If most clothing and other pawnshop items that are less than 35k are single command disposals, I think it would be nice to maintain the single command disposal for the junk items also since the intent when selling was to get rid of them. If they could be retrieved from the trashbin, then that allows for item rescue for the 0.1% of the time you might want to do that

Could easily write you a script that automates throwing things away. Then you wouldn’t have to enter a second command!

Just want a solution that doesn't force an outcome for everyone.
