Interesting, what ever the no prep ability is that tree spirits do, it ignores KS's Absorb Feat. 😦 ```
[Red Forest, Inner Weald - 24705] (u480227)
A small pocket of trees stretch up from the ground, their bark stained a blood red hue, and dried black ichor clinging to their misshapen leaves. Other plants and vegetation grow in the area, but have sprouted far away from the sanguine trees as if nature itself evades them. You also see a warped tree spirit.
Obvious paths: southeast, southwest
Your disk arrives, following you dutifully.

You are now targeting a warped tree spirit.
Your disk arrives, following you dutifully.
Feat AbsorbMagic
You open yourself to the ravenous void at the core of your being, allowing it to surface. Muted veins of metallic grey ripple just beneath your skin.
[ Absorb Magic: +0:00:10, 0:00:09 remaining. ]
A warped tree spirit sinks partially into the ground and begins channelling mana!
The ground around a warped tree spirit begins to boil violently!
You are injured and knocked to the ground.
... 10 points of damage!
Burst of flames to right leg burns skin bright red.
... 5 points of damage!
Minor burns to left leg. That hurts a bit.
P>Tackle
You might want to stand up first.
P>Stand
A warped tree spirit whistles a soft, malicious tune.
P>
You stand back up.
The hunger of the void retreats within you, unsatisfied.```
@astral harness y Do you truly think that's what i'm doing? Seriously? I'm trying to have a rational discussion about bad mechanics design.
@hollow field That stance is a really bad debate stance when you consider that those levels of hunting are slim in options. Moreso for undead. I'm debating it because it is bad mechanics design, no matter what you think and others agree. Heck, in a way you agree because your stance is to go hunt elsewhere. Which ignores the problem.
