#Briar Weapons - UCS handwraps not flaring

Two DRs ago I purchased a pair of the UCS handwraps (and the corresponding unlock certificates) from the briar shop and have been working up player services since. On 4/10 I finished up that work and finally applied the unlocks up to T3.

After using them quite heavily the last day+, I have yet to see a single briar flare (expecting Vines of vicious briars whip out from your...)

They are gaining influence as expected, and I am able to RAISE them:

You must be holding that to raise it. ```

The last line is another bug - I did *not* have to remove the handwraps to RAISE, and I did get the buff.

It sounds as though at least one other person is experiencing this problem. 

Feature creep request: It would be amazing if the buff from RAISING them appeared in the Buffs window, similar to how animal spirit (Savage Power), or valence weapons (Incision of the Igaesha) do. Also, some messaging when the buff wears off would be very helpful.

It has a permanently unlocked loresong by BARD.

ANALYZE:
Your emerald-thorned handwraps is a briar flare weapon and is currently tier 3 of 3.

The handwraps has Custom Flare messaging that is valid for ANY flare type:

Kalyrra says she is experiencing the exact same issue you described above with her briar UCS handwraps.

The only things she could add are 1) her handwraps were purchased at the most recent DR and 2) the briar accessories she also purchased do not seem to be adding to the blood draw effect.

the system wasn't really built for brawling weapons, so I think it's confusing itself and thinking they are accessories and not weapons.

It's me again, a month later and still no updates is 😢

Would be great to at least know this is actively being looked at, fully unlocked briar isn't exactly a small purchase.
