The ilanithe are a great example of teamwork -- Valyrka had a general thought about royal horses, Elysani had other thoughts, and then I ran wild with their thoughts, smushed them together, added some other stuff, and named them, and then created the other horse name to add extra flavour.

And OMG, Casil's Great Rainbow Riot IS TO DIE FOR! I laughed myself silly over it, because you know real crap like that happened in history, and it's just so inspired and awesome!

It makes me laugh that it’s not just, like, the rainbow riot. It had to be called the Great Rainbow Riot. Not to be confused with the Lesser Rainbow Riot of 23,000, which only involved pastel colors. That is hilarious and awesome.

btw, that special wallpaper is based on anaglypta (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anaglypta) which is SUCH a cool word, but sadly a brand name...I was fascinated by it when developing that section.

N'erenael: This "flower of the shadows" is an evening-blooming wisteria of deep crimson blossoms and green-black vines. While more traditional wisteria is popular for its gradients of purple, n'erenael is coveted for its lush and unique flowers as well as its fragrance.

🤣 I'm glad you appreciate our silly humor. That particular tidbit started out very differently, as I was simply trying to provide an example of a time the crown would step in and intercede in economic matters. Then Gyres and I got chatting and it spiraled into the most petty economic argument we could come up with and the Great Rainbow Riot was born (originally named the Great Economic Collapse). We had a good laugh about it. I fully expect someone to have a backstory about how their great great great great great great great granddad lost EVERYTHING because of those damn dyer guilds.

BTW, I did want to do a special call out to both Elysani and Casil, without taking away from the awesomeness that is everyone else's sections too! This was one of the first lore documents either of them wrote, and LOOK AT THEIR STUFF!!! Knocked it out of the park first try!

I finally was able to finish reading this document and holy wow is it amazing! Major kudos to everyone behind it, especially the GMs who brought so many player ideas to the forefront and then made them even better. This honestly gives me a few new hooks to play with my Loenthran elf, and that is beyond exciting, so thank you.
