#Kraken Tips for beginner?

And normally you use the clans relic since it’s a free feast
Other than that maybe jar
I think you can go mjolnir after upcomonig update. Looks it might be strong again but still its for longer games
What about the kraken event, does it bennifit you in any kind?
You feast during it. So 2 feasts every year with relic. In team games you want to feast 801 and most games end 802. Makes it hard to justify going relic especially since kraken relies on winning with 1 big convert and you don't need a relic to get that.
I see
What Lore perks should be grabbed first for Karken?
Also, the build order?
Hey
Kraken basically has one build order - it’s always the same (minor changes are possible based on map generation) and goes as follows;

Thank you!
This is what I usually run, except I tend to go for sharp axes unless I have a slow start. Also I usually go mil strat before legendary heroes, and usually don’t get monster slayer
But I’m by no means an expert lol
Eh - monster slayer is only useful in certain scenarios - mil strat is often better - especially if you have valks, bodyguard, chief, warriors and ghosts
What's the build order for Karken? Struggling with it as of late.
Also, Military path.
At the end of the day this is what you normally want as kraken by 802:
Fame 200
Tile 1:
Town hall upgraded
Scout camp upgraded
Fish camp
Trading post
Food silo
Horgr
Tile 2:
Woodcutter
House
Warrior camp
Horgr
Tile 3:
Fish hut
Market
Food silo
Horgr
Tile 4:
Wood cutter
House
Warrior hut
Horgr
Tile 5: (greedy)
House
Warrior hut
Axe thrower
Horgr
Build order is as follows:
Year 800:
Scout camp, horgr, colonise 2nd tile, build house and wood cutter on second tile, colonise 3rd tile, build fish hut on 3rd tile Build market on first tile
(Valk)
Claim 4th tile if you can and build another house - if you can’t, build house on 2nd tile instead
Focus on finding neutrals to trade with ASAP - you should have the knowledge from beyond lore by now
Winter 800:
Build stone mine and double miner it all winter
If you can, try and do the same with your iron
(I might even recommend getting 5 iron first, then focusing on stone).
You do NOT need all 15 iron.
Get 5 iron then replace your mine with something more important
By 1st winter you should have 15-16 people
Convert valkarie for self clear
If you get ruins or shipwreck build a valk before winter
Always claim near the sea spirit AFTER this next bit:
Remove all workers from horgr’s and focus on spawning ghosts
Send ghosts onto all your tiles and make it Ran
Once al your tiles are soggy, focus on building more horgr’s (1 per tile) then place ghosts on all your tiles.
Now you can claim near the sea spirit
If you can, clear all tiles around you for and claim a 5th tile
Spend 801 focusing on adding the missing buildings mentioned in the endgame layout - military buildings and horgr’s come last.
Focus on another market, food silos, and keeping your Wyrd above 5 for bonus fish
Upgrade your fisher huts, markets, town hall and scout camp.
That should push your fame up to 200 and supercharge production.
Winter 801 should be spent hoarding money
Finish building and upgrading any missing structures
By 802 you should have a decent amount of money, and are nearly ready for a push
If you have been trading consistently with neutrals, your lore income should be sky high and you will have jord’s blessing followed by ran’s at mid/late 802

Military path should always be warchief booster / leadership
Try and have her on the field by early 801 - you want to get the 2nd level of the leadership military path before 802 mid
Forge warrior and walk weapons by 802

Can't you swap lores 3 and 4 ? If anyway winter 800 is spent mining stone and ghosts (you need 7 total and start with 1), might as well get carpentry
Do you still work the horgr winter 800 ?
