#Server and Client mismatch with The Hordes mod.

Hey chat,

I have created a modpack that uses the horde mod, it was an existing server world that i installed the mod onto at a later date.

I have installed the mod on both client and server, and joined the dedicated server just fine. However, others are getting this error that states that the server doesnt have the mod installed (note that there are two instances of the mod, Hordes:infection, and Hordes:hordeevent). Upon uninstalling these mods and attempting to rejoin, they then receive an error that claims the opposite, that the server DOES have this mod installed, and they lack the mod on client side.

I have no idea what is causing this error, any help would be greatly appreciated. I can provide more info if needed as well.

Are you sure they have the right Horde mod?

We did that multiple times just to be certain it was the same mod.

Additionally, as stated previously, when they remove the mid the server then asks for it to be installed.

Maybe try reinstalling it on the server? Could be a corrupted install, which just happens sometimes

I’ve tried that 😭 “turning it off and on again” simply does not work

However I’ll give it another shot and see if it fixes it this time

I dont know if u have tried this but have you like zip up your mod list and just sent it to everyone? same as the server file mods?

i have ensured everyone has the exact mods. Again, it works fine for me, i can connect and play normally and the server is not locally hosted.

Did you add all the mods yourself? Or was it pre installed and you added the extra Hordes mod into it? Just curious

Since your mc and your server mc is working fine but not others. Try to give them your config folder to be replaced
