Devil fish spawning in the abyss and the regular ocean, against what is supposed to happen (pulled from calamity wiki): The Devil Fish is an enemy that spawns in the 3rd layer of the Abyss.
Simply dig underneath the regular ocean and you might find devil fish
multiplayer: no
using windows 11
has a dedicated nvidia graphics card
16 GB total RAM

I have infernum, but I don't have infernum mode enabled

That is the issue

You can verify if you want by disabling the mod, but I am pretty certain this is an infernum issue
