so i had tracers in it so i only needed to make one pair

i have tons of mods and the slots works fine the second calamity is unloaded

while it is likely that calamity is the culprit it could still be cross-modding causing the issues in which case that isn't really a calamity bug, so the developers want to be sure that it actually is a calamity problem before investing resources into trying to fix it

that's why you want to submit bug reports with only calamity enabled

fair enough, i figured it was related to me not opening the game in a year and more just wanted a solution but didnt know where else to go. assumed it most likely wouldnt turn into something the devs needed to fix but just couldnt find anything online or even in the discords backlog to help me with the issue

just loaded an old version of calamity and used it to unload the item from my accessories

im aware yeah, that wasnt the issue. the old accessory slot that wasnt implemented properly was the issue. loading an old version of calamity showed the old slot i had with elysian tracers, once i removed those and loaded the new version of calamity i was able to use wings again and take advantage of the newly fixed accessory slot
