Rover Driver VS. Torch God

Essentially, I found out that when using the shield of the Rover Drive, you become completely immune to the Torch God, which I feel is not intended. Even if it isn't intended. I don't feel like it's fair that you can just "tank" all the hits from a boss. Essentially, what happens is that the "torch flames" (to call the torch god's projectiles somehow) hit the player, and instead of dealing the debuff, they just take away 1 health point from you.

I'm 99.9% sure this should be in bug reports since it's regarding possibly unintended behavior

there is technically no bug

taking shield damage doesn’t inflict debuffs but torch god always deals 1 damage and inflicts debuffs

Yeah, I don't think you're just meant to be able to tank twentyhits from a boss that can shred you in two. They should make it so, for example, the rover drive doesn't work while fighting the torch god.

I mean, sure, it's just torch god

but I just don't find fair that you can just skip the do-an-arena-part

because the only hard part of fighting the torch god is building a "mini-arena" to be able to dodge its projectiles

if anyone here says actually dodging the proyectiles is hard imma crash out 😭

but yeah, the problem is that you can literally do nothing since you have 20 free hits to tank with no consequences

it's not a horrible thing that's gonna ruin calamity or anything

I can also totally see this being made on purpose

cuz as @royal current said, it's literally just the torch god what are we even expecting lol

tbh I made the post cuz I thought this isn't inteded, although I can see it being intended

if anything the suggestion resumes as the following:
If you being able to tank twenty hits from a secret "miniboss" (if you can even call him a miniboss) is intended, don't do anything about it

If it isn't, make it so, for example, when starting the torch god's fight the rover drive gets completely disabled, allowing you to take hits from the torch god
