As the title says, on latest update I got the message 'a star has fallen' in chat, didn't check up on it for a while but when looking for the astral infection found it wasn't there.
Only mods active are calamity and calamity music.

yeah i dig a big trench around that area and didn't find anything, i can check again though
oh my god i found it, i dug a 2x pit to get to the frozen lab and the star landed at the bottom of that pit, what are the odds
i didn't see anything on the map update because the entire astral generated under the snow biome LOL
apologies for wasting anyone's time i thought i was diligent here hahahaha

I've had that happen in a run with friends before which is why I asked

It's always near the meteor
And you can always craft an altar
