We dont know but atm theres a bug that somehow seems to happen more likely when Fargos or Luiafk npc spawn configs are on and Im still trying to figure out which is the culprit

It's been happening without either of those as well

Me and namelesser both sent logs of it with Calamity and heros mod only, recreated by dealing the finishing blow to a blight slime with any weapon that inflicts a fire debuff

It is true that luiafk caused the same issue by using the fairy merchant though, so although it does happen with calamity only, other mods trigger it more often

seems like the core issue is in Calamity then

first thought is making sure that npc is active here

that's done in ValidToDraw though
