my friends cant dash with the cthulu shield/ counter scarf although I can

The controls menu, down near the bottom next to keybinds such as "Adrenaline Mode" and "Rage Mode"

they just checked and its binded to the "F" key

do they just unbind it to fix it?

As the name suggests, that control overrides double tap dash

So if they don't want their dash to be F, bind it to the same key again to reset/unbind it
