It’s free and I believe it’s also open source
For concept art for my weapons though, I just bought a small whiteboard from Walmart and I draw them on there
But paint.net is very intuitive and easy to use, and it has so much functionality
Only downside is I have yet to discover an easy way to erase individual pixels, but I could just be being very stupid
