Ok question for you. I'm not allowed to call it malware but can I still mention that it bricked my save. I know it is "anecdotal" evidence but it did genuinely happen to me.

Since I help people on a daily basis this is what I will write from now on is this ok?

Cal overhaul is a buggy mod that's had problems in the past with corrupting saves. it personally corrupted years of world characters and builds.
Most of the reworks, additions, and changes are poorly balanced, breaks easily, and is generally disliked by a majority of the community. I can not personally recommend it and I will not be able to help with any troubleshooting as I will assume most of not all of your issues are from that mod.
