hydro itself itself is compared to brimflame armor whos counterbalance for not having an innate extra projectile or lifesteal is getting 30 damage 25 crit 41 defense (with 10% cost reduction and 80 mana)

there are definitely a few problems with that though.

1. it assumes more than 1% of the playerbase genuenely fucks with sentries

2. it assumes anyone genuenely thinking about using sentries isnt just going to use valhalla knight because it is blatently the best option for sentry focused builds

3. it assumes that balanced sentries will bridge the stat differential, which relies on both the existence of a balanced sentry (ontier option not found) and that said gap merely being bridged is actually a fair trade, which frankly, I doubt

I would have to test more thoroughly but it really does just sound like t3 ooa is now designed to be roughly the same effort as hydro for similar results.
