Yeah cal has a pretty bad stat bloat problem within it’s difficulties, old master death being notably ridiculous in terms of boss damage and health, so this is a great change as difficulty shifts to difficult attacks and patterns rather than getting hit hard.
bring back calamitas having 10,000,000 health and murasama doing 40k damage or whatever
if stats keep getting bloated then at some point it wont be bloat

Calamity 2.1 just isn’t really smth akin to… Souls Mod’s upcoming 2.0 update which will practically make it a perfect mod from what I have experienced of it mostly because Souls is already in a WAY better spot than Cal

wof does 22-30 base damage in normal terraria, i had 28 armor, which should be 16 damage taken, but it was death mode so im not sure how much damage he should be

I beat scal in like 5 attempts my first playthrough
you can just run away from exos while scal is actually a little scary for a first time player

I do have small issues with scal (it’s a lot of up and down, up and down movement) but it’s a fun fight
the only ones i didnt were slime god, eye (got jumped before i was ready), skeletron (used a weapon that performs poorly against it, twice), and astrum deus (summoned as a joke that i did not expect would work)
is brain despawnining at like 25% health a known bug w the new update idk it keeps happening to me

the life steal isnt affected by mana amount, and you heal faster at low mana, and have a 15% damage boost at full mana, down to 5% at zero
