do a playthrough of base cal when the update drops tho, don't jump straight into infernum
addon mods will take a little time to update anyways, there's been a ton of internal code changes with calamity but we've been making sure and working with people from the respective mods so that they will have a smooth transition and won't take too long to update to 2.1

regardless though, i'd personally advise to experience the update without addons on your first playthrough, otherwise you'll miss out on some important new things

Those 2 are interchangeable all class helmet sets so not adding rogue to them especially when its just 1 helmet for each set wouldnt make much sense

once we get around to overhauling the rest of rev+ i imagine the appeal of mods like infernum would probably waver a bit

ones consistant but its damage is hot ass, vs less consistant but the damage is way better
plus then again you don't need to aim much
if you cant aim as a ranger im failing to understand why you'd be playing ranger
