Knives being rogue weapons makes sense, thereās some cool stuff you can do with blink + backstab type attacks that isnāt used much afaik
head hit boxes for headshot crits and back hitbox for backstab crit

My idea wasnāt so much specifically backstabs but just making some attacks feel like backstabs
Like using full rogue stealth to blink to a target and hit them with a stabby feeling melee attack that gives some iframes or something to emulate a backstab
Devs probably already have some stuff cooked up though so it likely wonāt be exactly like that

But to compensate they make dodge rate of enemies 99.9999% chance and your weapons try and miss on purpose /j

the whole thing with crates is that it boiled down to
- crates were nerfed due to perfectly reasonable reasons such as crates being inconsistent with vanilla, and the fact that many of these crates in fact did give genuinely too much
- unfortunately, the nerfs seemed to be performed pretty haphazardly, and were not even initially intended to be released pre-SSO. the nerfs got released early because apparently their code was inherently tied into a bug fix for the early HM changes that are toggleable.
- nerfs in a PvE game tend to be not liked in general

- a lot of critique was prompted due to a recent video by a youtuber who had just finished a popular calamity challenge run, and who felt the changes would substantially negatively impact the challenge
what i find crazy is just how aggressive the reaction is lol
i mean, it was a haphazard change

i like the part of the changes where the challenge isnt even killed it just has its routing changed a bit
and those things tend towards the problematic

The enemies themselves have frankly very subpar programming and behaviors and the designs are.. really simplistic which you could argue is part of the charm but id argue you can keep them simple while making them have more of a identity

THey take the simplistic charm of wulfrums except give them way more identity and each wulfrum design he made is actually incredibly distinct from eachother
Also actually, this reminds me of a slight issue I have with Wulfrum, and it's how...condensed it is. Like I'm not someone that thinks every piece of content should be relevant at every point in the game, but it's weird how there's a decently sized corner for Wulfrum content that's packed into one part of early pre-HM and barely exists for 90% of the game
The design got some changes ever since that design but its still basically the same

Drone provides shield because it can ig? it also is just pretty consistent which most early summons aren't
Wulfrum Knife provides retrieval of consumables, easing the cost of making more knives
wulfrum knife, now that it's not consumable in 2.1, is instead reworked to allow easier stealth usage (and even be able to use stealth without armor)
