i like that the order you fight them in is pretty much entirely based on
A. what gear you want
B. what bosses you're better at

like if i wanted the ion blaster which uses adamantite and souls of fright, then i'd be encouraged to beat skeletron prime as my second mech

but if skeletron prime is really fucking difficult for some reason (cough cough), then i could just fight a different mech and take on skeletron prime again with adamantite and ornate shield
