It is worth noting the term "God" may be used, both in-universe and out of it, for other things aswell though, but the top definition is what is most often accepted and what is usually being talked about when soemone says "God"

Obviously this is not exhaustive.

Auric Dragons technically ascended with the World Soul Fragments to some capacity but it would really confuse things if we just listed them as also being gods.

i agree; part of my issue with my headcanon noxus is i can't make it seem more like something entirely foreign which sucked out a part of someone's brain and used it as a basic translation device in which to communicate to the first capable individual that it thought it could give mutual benefit

moon lord would sound more complete and wouldn't be doing the token replacing thing, but it didn't actually get to suck out any modern terrarian brains and thus wouldn't have been able to speak to you

i also think moon lord would be less naive and more directly hostile and curt

i don't think signus speaks. i kinda think it just offers you Choices and you innately understand what you see

you'd have to be trying very intentionally to speak to it, which i think it knows. it thinks it can get through the communication barrier faster if you go through the ??door and just connect with it directly
