Braelor (The 2nd of said legendary heroes) was his boyfriend also
In their fight with Yharim, they were sent by the Distortion (The realm DoG, Signus, Storm Weaver, etc. come from) by the Devourer, who ambushed them. Statis managed to get out thanks to making a deal with Signus, but Braelor was left behind

While Statis is not ingame currently, he's referenced both through lore items and the statis line of items yeah. In the future he'll be a wandering npc (Not a town npc) that will have his own questline, which will end up in you fighting Signus and saving Braelor from the distortion

So while Perm raised her to control her magic, being basically her adoptive father, Yharim snuck her out the back so she could wage war for his cause

do think slime god can be built a lot better ingame tho, and he hopefully will when they get their proper redesign, rework and stuff

Calamitas returned to Yharim, but then she herself fled a few days later

This is what I find farcical, because Yharim's crusade was nearly propped up, in its early stages, by people who had hoped to improve the world. Now Calamitas is trying to make the world better on her own, but she doesn't even realize that the current mess was basically caused by people "hoping to improve the world"
