Is it traumatic? Yeah, absolutely. Does she still have angst and guilt about it? Of course, she always will to some extent

But she's not letting it dictate her life and all things considered she's doing pretty Fine

The big thing i can think of is that she probably gets pretty lonely given she dosen't have many friends or a place to really call a home since she seems to live in the wilderness and be mostly a hermit

And that is something that can get remedied by having her reunite with Permafrost adn potentially find connections with people that actually accept her with the Terrarian showing up

the distortion imo is a great gateaway into exploring some truly bizzare alien nature concepts, even if its not exactly "alien" as much as its another dimension

One of the biomes on that is a gigantic sea that's not actually made of water but instead is a single giant amoeba
