Personally, I prefer viewing it as Yharim's lifespan being doubled compared to most/all humans, say, rn he's somewhere in his 130s, he dies at 200.
This could put his claim of Yharon being reborn only by the time he's dead into discussion, but not only could one assume he's taking into consideration you killing him, you could also say Yharon just takes very long to rebirth (in this scenario, it'd be over 50 years at minimum). And I think that's fine (and checks out a bit too, it adds a layer of difficulty to people before the crusade struggling to grasp Yharon due to how its rebirth would take long enough for entire generations to come and go)

Then Silva was imprisoned there, and as the nature elemental, began spreading her domain there, aka Nature
this then pushed out Anahita and she no longer lives there
due to Silvas presence, the Abyss became way more life friendly, or at least as life friendly a deep sea trench can be
That's why you have stuff like collossal squids and planty mush down there, its all due to silva
then even later, Dreadon used that place as a dumping ground for his radioactive waste, and that turned the sulphurous sea into the place it is today, and that radioactive waste sunk a bit deeper into the abyss, but the deeper layers are kept clean due to Cannonball Jellyfish
Early in its life time, the abyss was also already getting polluted due to Azafure's industrialization. since Abyss is directly above Azafure, all the fumes from there flew up into the abyss and polluted it from there
whats also kinda crazy is that ever since Silva was imprisoned in the abyss, because of her being the Nature elemental and all, her essence or something (dont remember exactly) dripped down onto Azafure and stuff making it more habitable
