was gonna keep "manipulate" instead of "wield" but i think the latter is more straightforward, since the "manipulate" is also often used to describe making more subtle alterations than what i'm envisioning (as in, it might make it seem like DoG is just nudging gravity's effects in the right direction rather than really controlling it)
"wield" i think more obviously refers to directly using something as a tool, which is what i wanted to get across; to DoG, a grand force like gravity is little more than a means to an end

Thirdly and most importantly, I am interested in how society as a whole would react to the Godseeker's defeat. What Reb and I discussed was making its filter feeding a sort of "energy fuel" so it could dig and hunt more consistently
Rather than intermittently, like many predators do

i know theres a special scourge nest tile, maybe back in the sunken sea, it used some other terrain rather than just, sand, which was far more effective, but now it just has asnd

Like, I might as well explain it, but the idea is that DS obviously lived in caves and stuff, and it was too big to fit in crevices and hunt its prey properly, so it had to tunnel through walls and shit to find another place to it. Its presence naturally drove away potential prey and tunneling consumed too much energy to be done consistently and quickly, so while it was making a tunnel towards another cave system, it sustained itself off of microorganisms
