The sulphuric sea, a once… acceptable living place has many peculiar things about it, but today we will look into the ecosystem, the many animals living there.

The creatures are quite interesting as well as one of the most common creatures there is a crab which has adapted to the fact of the many thermal vents there and tries to mimic them.
They are simple scavengers and in the case of extreme situations may use explosive projectiles and hurls out of it’s shell such as a cannon, hence the name of the weapon made from the body.

Another interesting creature is the trasher which has the mouth to eat most other creatures there whole in one bite but is still a scavenger, eating scraps from the apex predators left overs.
This is an explanation for the name but it is simply too bad for such a good boy.

There are a few apex predators in the sulphuric sea, one of the most distinctive and horrid is the nuclear terror, once being an animal fighting for survival whilst the poison and radiation from the scientists experiments made it into something more… terrifying (get the joke? :D)
It hunts using the radioactive sludge it emits and uses it either for killing it, or slowing it down so it has the chance to bite it and for some peculiar reason, it always bites directly where the brain is!
No matter what.

Another is one of the oldest still living draconic offshoot, of course being the old duke.
Even though it has existed for at least2000 years we do not know how it reproduces nor how it has so many kinds of projectiles it can make as of the difficulty of getting close to it.
One theory is it releasing smoke from small holes in the skin, having a layer of scales over spikes under it or just utilizing the draconic powers it has been gifted by.
It hunts by lurking under the water whilst using the microscopic bioluminescent algae attracted to mucus that forms on the eyes.

i will say, something i am trying to do with talking to NPCs is if they're covering something you can hear about like 2-3 or more other places, they'll just be like "hey are you are you familier with this concept?" and you can just be like "yeah" and they'll be like "ok i'll just get to the point i want to make about said concept then"

like with the permafrsot dialogue i shwoed on christmas i mentioned there being an option to him asking if you're familier with how usign magic actually works and just being able to go "i am, yes" and that just entirely skips the explaination of how magic works

and just gets right to the point

along with the option i did add of just

an alternative to just saying "no" being like

"i wouldn't mind a refresher on it"

that gives the same dialouge and just exists for if like

you dont want a character who does use magic to just seem stupid if you want the explaination

and then the army would just some in after and clean up all the things yharim either missed or didnt find worth his time

We know it could counter the auric rebirth cycle so I think it def planned for the auric souls in some way
