Keep in mind the energy to completely burn away the earth's crust and surface is comparable to the energy needed to destroy the moon, the moon requires almost 30 exatons of tnt for its gravitational binding energy to be overcome
30 exatons = 30000 petatons = 30000000 teratons = 30000000000 gigatons, the world's nuke stockpile at its peak (1960s due to nuclear arms race n stuff) was only 23 gigatons at most, the asteroid that killed the dinosors was 72 teratons; both of these would be so catastrophic but combined they wouldn't be able to completely destroy the earth's crust/surface nor the moon

'beheaded' was always meant to be headless, i just forgot the word
'running to' --> 'running straight into' was so that Yharim seems less like a destination and more like an obstacle (primarily by using 'into' instead of 'to'), since the whole deal with 'aimlessly' is that they aren't really heading towards any particular destination. minor word change but i prefer it
