My most recent writing endeavour was me trying to explain my story's power system (I stopped halfway through, tried to reread it and realized it fucking sucks then gave up)

i managed to write a 5000 word chapter in a single day (and sure it wasn't of brillaitn quality, but by my standars it also wasn't bad either, at least superficially. it didn't actually add much to the story because it was fluff) a year or two ago

now i lose motivation to write too fast

combined with the lack of motivation a lot of the time

really just results in very slow writing
