Last week, things took a turn for the worse. I came home to an empty apartment and a note on the kitchen table. She wrote that she needed time to figure things out and that Yharim understood her in ways I never could. She said she was leaving to find herself and that she hoped I’d understand one day.

I’ve tried reaching out to her, but she’s cut off all contact. Her friends and family are just as confused as I am. They knew she was into the game, but they never imagined it would lead to something like this.

I’m at a loss here, Reddit. I miss her, but I also don’t know how to process what’s happened. Has anyone else experienced something this bizarre? How do you move on from being left for a cardboard cutout?

Any advice or support would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for listening.

Generally not much is known about it, besides the fact its worshipped by a ninja clan called the Onyx Kinsmen. The only remaining member of that clan, Statis, was taken to the Distortion by DoG while he was fighting Yharim alongside Braelor, his boyfriend. Statis struck a deal with Signus to escape, which cost him an arm and a leg (literally). Braelor is still stuck there though.

Signus is pretty enigmatic at this point, as is the Distortion itself

I do like to imagine that my Terrarian is very playful, I often like to imagine the player characters I'm playing as in games are having the same or similar reactions to me, so they're blasting Yharon with long forgotten magic and going "Damn making the sky orange makes it kinda hard to see everything could you knock that off"
