If it was based on the concept of Dharmic Enlightenment, i.e. the world soul is an all-encompassing state of being, and the aspects of the dragons are the result of this universal state being shattered, with the dragons themselves being the equivalent of the essence of illusion, which deludes things into thinking themselves separate from everything else. That would mean that the absorption of auric souls only works because in the end, they were once one and the same, which is why they seem to fit together so well

That would also explain why the human gods seem to be so much more powerful than the dragons they killed, to the point that they could do a genocide - the dragons are just a shard of the world soul, but a god is that shard plus something more, literally lending them more metaphysical weight

i dont remember who said it, might have been Neko or Colgator, but a suggestion was given that the Terrarian broke it on accident when making the sword

the recipe for the BBB is:

As seen in gameplay (and probably not canon as a result), trees are all one species. All trees (except the gemtrees) drop acorns, and acorns can grow into any tree. This means that all of the trees in Terraria/Calamity are one species, and the cause of change is a result of the environment that the acorn grows in.

The Broken Biome Blade (BBB) is able to use any wooden sword to craft.

With dirt and stone representing the ground, aerialite representing the sky, and hellstone representing the underworld, crafting the BBB uses the principle of trees adapting to the environment to grant the sword its ability to attune to biomes.

The BBB can only handle 2 attunements at the same time after all
