She's a smart crafter that learned a lot about technology during her imprisonment in draedon's lab.
So after cal freed her and she gained some part of her magic, she started using scraps or draedon's technology to channel this magic. This way she won't use it directly, and it will not have this big affect on her mental health, but also it will be weaker. So generally, calclone isn't insane, she had problems because of being locked in a lab for the big part of her life, and also because she's hunted, but more on that later.
She made a mech and weapons from the scraps, and also "brothers", small drones, crafted in image of cal bros (she is very lonely). She's a bit delusional, and treats those drones as her actual siblings.
She scatters across the surface at night, because she's actively being hunted by people. They think she's calamitas, so they proceed to do a witch hunt. This is why clone has all this weaponry, to protect herself.
