But there are things that also don’t really count as “creatures.” Yet have entries. Like the Cosmic Lanterns.
🤷
It ate it's lore entry
i mean i made one a while back but it has nothing on current exo aesthetic
if they go with an exo gun, to keep it looking distinct, akimbo pistols might be the unironic way to go
Aren't at least some of the items that require sea remains tooltips canon though? I guess there's obviously probably a couple other examples like that, too
I do doubt you were being totally literal, though
Oh, and those items tooltips usually don't describe what the item does or its power, just some lore about past Ilmeris, sometimes directly related to the item, sometimes loosely
no, they are, just donator and dev item ones aren't.
which is basically all the post moon lord tier and post DoG tier guns
Speaking of Skeletron, where the hell did they come from and why are they guarding the dungeon in Calamity lore
A funny interpretation is that some of the tooltips are item descriptions made up by the terrarian
so any exaggerations like "obliterates timelines and shreds them like they're toilet paper" are just the terrarian exaggerating the item's power
i kinda like this interpretation :3
man im just here wondering how the terrarian manages to like, not become a part of the astral infection even if they don’t die to it
because let’s be real it can’t be incredibly safe to be exposed to that biome for too long
what the Homestuck
also the Astral Infection can't infect organic beings with higher thought
machines, which completely lack neurological systems, are prone to it
my username was well-earned
hm, that makes sense lore-wise
yeah
it's explained in the lore thing for the Astral Infection, and Draedon also explains it in the lore they just added
interesting to see how things like animals would react to it, they're kind of in the middle I think
technology is prone because it has no thought, humans are immune because they have higher thought
i know that one of the astral creatures used to be a bird, and while i guess they’re not really in the middle in terms of intelligence it’s still an animal
damn, i wish i could go all draedon and study the astral infection’s capabilities (and probably end up as an atlas)
All the creatures we see were animals that got mutated and such
Finished taking a look at Draedon dialogue
It’s very ironic that Draedon that doesn’t care about life or morality has done less damage to nature of the planet than Yharim that had a moral compass and wished to bring balance and order
Also something I don’t understand. Drawdown’s saying that the reason Calamitas is so strong is because of the brimstone elemental that gave power to her, since Calamitas is barely above civilian level in magic control
So why Calamitas outpowers the brimstone elemental so much? Like she was/is above most of the gods in the series, while brimstone witch is below even a clone of calamitas that had only a piece of her power, and is below the mechanical bosses
We don't know how strong brimmy was when she fought cal
For all we know she could be way stronger back then before scal gets her power
I also don't know why brimstone elemental gives calamitas her power
That’s not guaranteed to be exactly what happened
It’s a possibility
But unlikely
yeah, I figure its not a consious giving, but if it isn't, then it is unclear how it works
perhaps cal stole it instead
It says somewhere that it was "inherited"
Auggghhh
Dragon Cult curse smh
Dragon Cult guards the Ancient Library, they cursed Clothier to become the Skeletron because of trespassing the library
I just had a thought
Do yall think if Draedon could actually hate, he could put the terraria world into a similar state as AM
Or well, if he did hate.
Idk
whats AM
Look up “I think therefore I am”
But in short
AM is an artificial intelligence built to fight WW3
Due to its advanced nature it gained sentience. But it couldn’t do anything with that, unable to move or anything.
That caused it to HATE all of humanity to an unbelievable extent, even going as far as to keep the remaining 5 humans alive to torture for the rest of time
hmm Draedon is perfectly capable to understand any emotions, he just has no moral compass
Though if he were actually hate everything
If he were to hate
he can wipe out everything easily
Do humanity have any contigency against a swarming nanites that can control living beings
draedon just need to infect the higher ups with The Plague and make them nuke their own country
Though i dont think he has any form of advanced antivirus built in his system so theres still a chance for humanity to fight back
make him connect to the internet and drop a 55.4 yottabyte zip bomb on his ass

Drop the entirety of the e621 site on him
He’ll combust immediately
He would be fine
Anyways, he's not capable of hate. This makes him less dangerous than you might expect
Would he be pissed if i destroyed all his backup server
it'd be like that spongebob meme with the closet full of clocks
Okay lets say hypothetically i can destroy each server at the same time
He'd be more like
"Nice try. I'm going to kill you now." (Hangs up)
Then in that case he'd just be dead
What do you mean?
The most sensible way for him to exist would be as tons of computers working together like a cloud run system
With lots of redundancy and the option to shift tasks around arbitrarily or slow down processing back to near human levels to fit on a single machine
i though he can exist without any outside computers
i meant like his current body has a computer right
why not just run the program in that
It just is a computer
He probably isn't in any one body
But if he was, it would be a robot body with a computer for a brain
Which is exactly what you'd expect for a robot
yes
he's gonna be the final boss of the mod
which is why he says he "awaits our challenge" in cynosure
what a patient man.
He has another few (80) years
More like 10
At most
Devs have said that yharim is 130 currently and would die in the next 10 years even with all the magic steroids he's used, but that despite this he is still in peak physical condition due to those magic enhancements and a century of training.
The yharoids
The yhapium
wait what actually makes statis so powerful? does he channel power from SG in some way
or is he just a good fighter
yharim's stimulants woooo
Mf got the one punch man training regime
Yes
this most likely
But he’s repeatedly compared to ppl like Braelor and Cal, which should be significantly more powerful than him if he’s just a normal dude
well braelor is a normal dude with silvas powers
Draedon said Yharim is like 2000 years old tho
Yharon
yharim is around 120 I think?
I don't think her powers came from brimmy
More so i believe both of their powers come from the same source
130
But at that point it doesn't matter
He's already the fantasy version of a US politician
Funny that his age fits too
i dont think brimstone elemental is strong enough to create calamitas
It'd be strange for calamitas, who's stronger than her, gain her powers from her, specially if you factor the part where they were trying to kill eachother
Calamitas zucced her power
I think it's much more plausible both of their powers came from the same source
Brimstone elemental likely used to be way stronger
Since they fought and brimmy didn't get completely obliterated, they were evenly matched
Is there anything implying that
The fact that scal and brimmy fought
I think that's just
At all
do we even know if brimstone, anahita etc are at all at full power once we fight them? couldnt it just be a case of like
Brimmy was weakened by the fight, probably
"oh thats just my avatar"
And then calamitas STOLE brimmy's power by sucking it with a straw
Because scal never had used her powers and thus wasn't as experient
I already said that
Smh
Yeah but she still was destructive as FUCK
you said zucc smh
Zuckerberg
I think calamitas is maybe somehow descended from brimmy
Scal family tree
If brimmy got weakened by the fight i'd imagine it being mentioned somewhere
Adoptive father and all
There are alot of things that aren't mentioned
We all know this
It seems like too much of a large detail to just
Not mention
Yeah but things that aren't mentioned are usually in-universe mysteries like noxus
So let's see
The way I see it brimber and cal were equal but then scal slurped brimmy's power and now the balance is fucked
Silly straw
That's just my baseless theory though
There's absolutely no reference to brimmy being weakened, which wouldn't be hard to figure for someone in-universe
scal is such a cutie patootie :3 and brimmy is definitely sexualized. i don’t know if that’s a bad thing or not
What
Actually is Cal from azafure?
Yes
Can't talk about women without someone bringing up their looks smh
thats a girl
I realized
Oh nvm
we should do this more with men :3
I am the thinker
Real
I already do
:(( i’m sorry
Yharim is probably hot
Mods
Be sorry
Sexualize that male character.
Too bad he doesn't have a canon face
I can believe it
You simply can't imagine well enough
The real question is whether permer is older than yharim or not
Yes
he is
hear me out on perma tho
Permafrost can freeze himself
Cryogenics
:((
Ok that's fair
He's probably like fry from futurama
what
That gosh dang cryo skin care is too good
Mmmmm
Yharim can't keep up with his skincareroutine
Ice cold skin
What skin
Carbon
muscletissuecareroutine
Yharim looks like darth Vader headcanon
He has a layer of carbon where his skin was
Isn't
All body tissue carbon or water
Honestly i respect it
I'm not on that boat but i can see it
Or similar to it
Can't believe I'm doing this instead of studying for biology
yharimology
True
Study the biology of the yellow auric man
Yharim is actually a goblin
lore better
sorry guys
damn
If you think about it
Yharim is actually anakin skywalker
Biology is just real life lore

He leads an evil army
No
He genocides an entire group of people
has cool armour to hide body burnt by lava
Yes
ok but do anakin have a pet dargon
Uh
Not necessarily
Anakin has a pet executor class star dreadnought
we don’t know
Well to be fair it's less of a pet
Yharim's plume is just yharon's fur
Do you count ahsoka
canon
Amigo, even
yharim stores yharon's egg in his plume
ahsoka is my favourite animal
Ehhhhh Ashoka is more like cal tbh
Kinda
ish
Get rid of the was kinda evil
does r2 count as a pet
who’s dradon then
C3-PO
The Droid that turned him into vader
sure
Who's palpitudes though
Grand moff tarkin is dron
Xeair
Xesand
Xefivepebbles even
This makes sense because yharim hates xeroc
And since yharim is anakin
And anakin hates sand
lore
Yhanakin hates xesand
Lightsaber is unaffected by auric rejection
The force
And anakin is also one of the strongest force users
Vader (depending on the continuity) is like
He can just throw yharim into a volcano again
lmao
yeah there's no way that Luke could've beaten Vader if he wasn't his son
Vader is the greatest lightsaber duelist ever
He can barely move but can fight obi-Wan and luke
Darth Vader is unironically one of the most powerful mortals in fiction
Star wars comics scare me sometimes
As anakin he could move so fast he looked like he wa teleporting (from the vision of jedi)
Comic dooku is said to be faster than light at lightsaber dueling
when the Yharim update drops ((assuming I'm not dead by then)) I'm gonna power scale Yharim vs Darth Vader
Jesus christ why isn't the movies as good as the comics
Yharim gets his ass packed wtf
idk we haven't seen Yharim yet, so it's hard to tell
No character in calamity goes over continental power
especially considering he's so powerful that he made Xeroc question his own power
debatable
Calamitas, Draedon, Nameless Serpent, Yharon, Terrarian, and Yharim easily surpass continental
The area terraria take place is only a continent not a planet
Draedon is only possibly higher cus he could just
the new Draedon lore directly debunks this
How do they debunk it we literally see it
In the ocean background
Which is completely canon
"Though I was disappointed that I had little chance to study Yharon given he was what initially drew me to Yharim, I would be presented with many other opportunities throughout the next seventy-two years: the Archmage's magic, the Devourer's realm, and the Witch's power were the most notable.
The Crusade taught me that I progressed faster with...
yeah the game itself is on one continent
but the overall lore is the whole planet
Just quote the dialog I'm in school
Terraria itself is on a continent, draedon was born elsewhere (another continent)
Thats what I got
watch it later then, I'm not digging for everything
Thats what I will believe
yeah, and he also mentions how Yharim also conquered that continent
therefore, we can assume that Draedon, Calamitas, and Yharim are all at post-continental power
as well as Yharon and DoG by that logic
and the Terrarian since they mog on all of them
Terrarian is whatever you say
Yeah terrarian is an empty canvas
Hold on do you mean destroy or conquer a continent
Its what the player wants the backstory to be
The actions during the game are canon
Other than that
yeah
The terrarian can be whatever you want, even if you come up with something stupid
exactly, that's what makes him so powerful
conquering is nowhere near destroying a continent
any hobo can conquer a continent with enough charisma and people
but leveling the entire thing is a whole different deal
What does destroying a continent even mean, when is it considered destroyed
Calamitas could probably burn the whole surface relatively quickly
Ok maybe not quick
But it wouldn't take months
(maybe)
probably something along the lines of completely leveled
but yes you need a LOT of power to destroy a continent
continents aren't tiny
Most calamity characters don't really have the kind of power that destroys landmass, right?
our world is a contitent
large world
Oh so that's actually a relatively low bar compared to Earth continents
We don't think it's to scale though
It'd still have to be a very big island to justify all those biomes
i think that makes the most sense tbh
The in-game world isn't to-scale
It rarely ever is in open world games
Because actually crossing that much distance would be boring and tedious
And filling up that world would be a giant task
Yharim didn't conquer everything by himself
He had a whole army, he's powerful but not as much as ppl like to hype him
Honestly goes for like
Every calamity character
The only characters that were global threats such as Yharim and Providence aren't just because they're strong, it's because they had massive following and influence
If yharim showed up irl he'd be stronger than every individual organism and able to wreak havoc if he wanted to, but i think the moment the US military decides they gotta intervene, hes gonna die
“Yharim was turned into a long pig by U.S. Military…”
Simply drop a nuke on him
Yeah ok fine
As shrimple as that
Agreed
I guess procedural generation like minecraft would work for sandbox games
Minecraft still has a limit tho
Yea
also idk how it would work for terraria with the ocean being a thing
unless we were given a means to travel fast across it
Boats in Terraria finally
Would be fun to see biomes and structures where the travelling merchant get his stuff from
guys i think it should take 3 irl days to get from your spawn point to main desert so that its 5% more accurate
the world that we can explore in terraria is a continent
The terrarian should take rapid damage when standing near lava
Realism!
tldr strength in numbers
Terraria airport when
What is the “Dragons Aerie?”
When you make it
I’m pretty sure that’s where the Auric dragons live. Or at least used to
an island where the dragons lived
gonna fight yharim there eventually
I’m guessing it’s in the sky
Hopefully
Like farum Azula from Elden ring
it's not a place you can find normally
otherwise draedon would have found it already
Lore wise it is but it's hidden
I wonder how we will fight yharim
With weapons
⛑️ 👊
Fair and square or will he have a dragon or something
we already killed his dragon
But we already killed Yharon
yharim's gonna die of natural causes at that point
Maybe
Probably lol
Dude is younger then permafrost, makes sense but funny that he'd die of old age first
permafrost is an archmage
yharim's also 130 something already
He's a old elderly senile man
the game happens in ~1880
Is Yharim human or a different species? I’m not sure on that
Human
Ok
I thought it was specifically the place where the dragons harnessed yharon's power to be reborn?
And where xeroc ascended
Tbh I have no clue lol
draedon mentions that they couldve lived there, but for some reason still left it even during the grey and deific eras
yknow the time where they were
LITERALLY HUNTED
Like, all dragons can be rebirthed but they have to be at the dragon aerie (with the exception of yharon, who can rev himself since he powers the aerie)
Might as well ask it again since I don’t think I got an answer last time. Is there a lore reason why Ceaseless Void and the Dark Energies don’t have bestiary entries (yet)?
Also the "rock" is carved out of the aerie, since that is where xeroc took zeratros' soul
: )
because they s p o o k y
||could be a joke, could be not||
hehe funny distortiom
Considering the extraordinary power of the Auric dragons and the sanctity of the Dragon Aerie, I am left to ponder: did the Aerie make the Auric dragons powerful, or is the Aerie inundated with power due to their extended presence?
are you the dragon aerie because you are full of dragons, or are you full of dragons because you are the dragon aerie
do all dragons have auric souls? If so and since they are so strong their population gotta be in the billions, wouldn't that be too many souls to go around for people to steal
Or are there only so many dragons and new ones can't be born?
so not all dragons have auric souls
Aight, gotcha
dragons without auric souls are often just called draconic offshoots instead
Even if two auric dragons reproduced?
biology
the economy is devastated
Also is there any specific reason why daytime eol can harness primordial light
I mean, considering its a xeroc (and by extension zeratros I think) only thing, its a bit odd something that's not even a dragon or auric can use primordial light
true dragons have auric souls
At least I don't think eol is auric
The only non-human to consume an auric soul was Silva iirc
and tyrian and otonilou
xeroc consumed the soul of the dragon king so he can use it but idk why eol
Auric Dragons don't naturally have auric souls
its uhhh uhmmm just her power ig
They born soulless
Who's tyrian again?
god of the seas
All this dragon talk makes me think of Cave story
sea god (unnamed in ingame sources currently)
They obtained their auric sol from the world soul, whatever that may be
no
What did the player do with the godly essence after we killed gods like slime god or Providence
He ated
they obtained it from something/where and they simply draw power on the world soul
y u m m y
all we know that theyr domains have power cuz of the shattered world soul
just kinda leave it there i think
sg we dont see any noticable effects
provis essence gets turned into uelibloom ore
Do slimes even have essence?
What's the world soul 😭 😭
they just mindlessly merge
They're about as enigmatic as jellyfish
Wasn't it said that they got them from the shattered world soul
Should be alive but is
idk i just know that its shattered
Slime god consumed dragon of hunger/gluttony's auric soul I think
something thats mentioned once, its fragmented and auric souls can draw on its power
no, auric souls simply draw on the world souls power
Whar is world soul?
Were the inhabitants of azafure human
_ _
I don't think those concepts are mutually exclusive
dragons have theyr own domains and those domains get theyr power from the world soul that was shattered
yea but no where does it say what exactly gifted the dragons auric souls
i think no because of the heat
yea
(This is an ingame thing so take it with a grain of salt)
We can stay down there, so can npcs
Living in literal hell sounds awful
its not literal hell
energy
We get energy
But I put my NPCs there anyway
i think they're probably biologically close enough to humans to count as humans
even yharim says that the name for the underworld being hell is a recent thing
Hell is the underworld
Underworld literally got demons and lava everywhere
Is not*
It basically functions like hell
theyre just called demons
and for the lava
In terms of living condition
it was said that they have near unlimited potential to theyr economy because of the heat that they use to get energy
thats just being deeper in the earth
They could very much be "drawing from its power" while also obtaining that power from it in the first place
I personally believe they did a ritual to consume the shattered soul much like how gods later did it, it would also explain why Xeroc knew the ritual, he had ties with Dragons
Are any vanilla NPCs relevant to the lore?
Were there no deserts before the incineration? Or is the desert with the sunken sea the only unnatural one
there are other deserts (as you see in game)
Calamity lore specifically
true,,
the one above the sunken sea was probably the only unnatural one
Since the mech bosses no longer are built by the mechanic in Calamity lore
Yall asking like 300 questions at once and i'm on mobile this is pain
Am also mobile
I'm the one asking the 300 questions on mobile
don't care. curse of discord mobile
I still have old discord mobile cus I never updated
there isnt rlly much to say about the vanilla npcs because theyre so _ _ normal
Mobile Discourse
bandit also has this
it just happened to me one day
their roles got replaced lol
being too normal just makes them appear as a normal character
They're just
They do have some relevance to Terraria's vanilla story tho
Regular ass people
i think the vanilla npcs (+ bandit) being generally unimportant is perfectly fine
where are all the other humans? Like why are there only 20-30 humans in the world
Same
Cuz videogame
we dont see the other humans
cuz its video game
There's alot more ppl we just dont see them
can serve as some nice worldbuilding to show what the world of cal is like for everyone other than Literally The 10 Most Important People In The World
also we can only explore 1 continent
I feel like there should be some reference to a society that ISNT destroyed somewhere
vanilla lore is wacky zany and barely exists
would u like to live in the same continent that has had 2 very well known civilisations fall in less than a decade
the lead dev said that its mostly head canon
But then Calamity lore overrides that with Draedon being the creator of the mechs
Vanilla lore is like mario bros
not to mention the corruption/crimson existing
optional
me when the "if its not ingame, its headcanon"
Go save the princess from king bowser typa shit
(said by the literal creator)
ai generated angry doctor mario image
Weren't they wiped out or smth?
no
crazy theory its a simulation that draedon made : O cuz he made everything : O
they just dont wanna live in a literal shithole
Wait we on Calamity lore?
The terrarian is actually in a coma
it was all a dream
Cuz I remember vanilla lore telling the civilization that existed went mad and got locked into the dungeon or smth like that
why doesn't draedon just dedicate some supercomputers to running simulations of what would happen if yharim died instead of waiting for you to kill him? is he stupid?
Shoutout to Every Fantasy Setting is a Coma theories
what is the process of the astral infection infecting dying stars. cuz how do they even just apear there
Gotta be one of my LEAST favorite genders
But then he spoils himself the ending
He just wanna watch 🍿
They're basically just rotten stars
you just described it.
When a star gets really big, it collapses in on itself and becomes infected
Star dies, rots, astral infection moment
he simulates battles to improve his tech
finally, you overcome noxus and xeroc praises your hardwork and determination, calling you the worlds second strongest warrior. everything starts to feel fuzzy, you can feel the world itself calling to you. you listen to its voice, louder and louder.
||"hey you, you're finally awake?"||
wait... wont yharim be the first human we fight
Astrum deus eats the dead stars before they rot but this time it didn't manage to for whatever reason
I did find confusing that Draedon actually said stars are a culmination of magic
Or something ti that extent
Calamitas
stars being mana has been known since the bestiary rewrite

stars in calamity are not like irl stars
2nd*
Yeah but Draedon is so obsessed with scientific stuff that stars not having any of that relation feels off
now replace the persons hand with permafrosts
was calamitas still a teen when she fought brimstone elemental?
and like space dust, over time mana accumulates and becomes a star
yeah, maybe even younger
if you think about it, in a world where magic has always existed, itll just be another type of science
yea
I mean
Since magic actually exists in calamity
It's technically not paranormal
And can actually be studied
kinda weird that draedon doesn't use it then
Ye this
Magic always felt like the excuse to not go into scientific terms
And now it's just science 2
what if he is just unable to use it himself
He did though. Calamitas clone boss is a draedon construct.
Not everyone wants to study how tou can scientifically create photon lasers just to explain tidbits of lore
I mean there's no real scientific way to explain 80% of things in most fantasy
noxus
Apparently even being limited to the rules of thermodynamics and shit
calamitas clone did not have magic until regular calamitas freed her
he gave calamitas clone magic
Oh I guess I'm just not informed on lore. Nevermind.
Weaker version but still
We can't actually correctly scientifically explain stopping time in a fantasy setting because yk
We don't know how to stop time
Or whatever it's called
(You literally can't stop time it's impossible)
just grab it
That's the fun of ignoring most logic
Old family recipe
real
Canon
It's technically not even scals signature magic cus brimmy uses a very similar if not the same kind
Mana is stored in the balls
several month old comment that hasnt been expanded on since
Maybe we need to preform an autopsy
I love throwing away all my mana when I molt
Are jellyfish magic?
What about slims
Not to be confused with exoskeleton
Is KS's magic stored in his crown or smth?
Probably
And Slime god in the core
that's why insects and other ecdysozoans are so vulnerable when they shed
Draedon made the exo skeleton
Magical on its own
Low tier god
there is no "core" to the slime god. its just the slime god (ball) and its paladins (slimes)
Literally
crystal brainrot
so
i believe that crystals and mana are extremely linked to eachother
Isn't the mushy blob that flies around called a core?
No
and can act as either as a "store" for mana or a "focus" for mana
That's sg itself
slime god refuses to get bigger, all the mass it would have went to the paladins
YOU SHOULD
renamed during lore rewrite
(gets shot
FALL WITHIN MY CALCULATIONS
o
Water bottles
What if we discuss why the Terrarian can't swim
So are prisms here a crystal, that makes the exo mechs powered by magic
Or any humanoid NPC by extent
I mean normally yeah prisms are crystals, but for this it's funny
Well have you seen how much weight you normally carry
_ _
perhaps
In a fresh world, not much
sea prisms are weird ok
True
Yet I still sink like a rock
And the base for exo prisms
they exist and generate electricity, and making very specific cuts literally create energy from nothing????
So if it's magic, dudes greatest creation are magic
So
the cuts don't make more energy, they provide a channel for it
im talking about exotic resonance
We also got a mana crystal, ig just very concentrated magic
Even the angler can sleep and stay above water but as soon as he wakes up he's drowning
which only appear after doing the cuts
So magic itself can crystallize
A fisher that can't swim
like they literally just pop into existence, and are around the exo prisms
And crystals can produce magic, so it's a cycle
So you guys have heard the math of how much terraria coins weight right
which then makes itself more powerful
1 copper coin is insanely heavy apparently if you use real world math
And guess what we carry on us 24/7
Copper coins
That's why we sink
That or cus you're fat
But with flippers
But brand new world
The swords
You defy all of those copper coins
And tools
Like that
Drop em all
Terrarian's bones never break, because they're super dense. that's why they sink
No items challenge
You're just fat
You are still carrying a trash can with you
Even the NPCs?
It's a very heavy trash can
If mana is crystals noob, does that make Astral ore one too
perhaps
well yeah, astral infection comes from stars after all
i dont mean theyre literally crystals
Factually incorrect
Said 'never' tho
Post death is not never
in light of new evidence, the theory must change
I'm saying popcorn
New game progression tho
The terrarian uses gravity magic like radahn to keep themselves from exploding
You die and travel through the afterlife to beat the reaper
Aha!
canonically the terrarian never dies so post death messages cant be canon

Respawning isn't canon
TRUE
the bones never break!
What about this achievement?
Achievements aren't real in modded
how can we confirm that is the terrarian
what does this disprove
You CANT
they are they just dont count for terraria
It would be most likely a representation of you
Or character
calamitoid
Calamitous
Who's to say this actually happens though
Disaster
she will be baked soon alhamdulilah 🙏
What about the calcium potion?
What about it
That stops fall damage
Fall damage doesn't mean broken bones
found the best yharon weapon
The Phoenix Blaster is a pre-Hardmode gun that essentially acts as an upgraded Handgun, featuring increased bullet damage and velocity but slightly less knockback than its predecessor. It is third only to the Musket and Star Cannon for base damage among guns available prior to Hardmode, but with more than triple the rate of fire of the Musket, a...
It makes bones stronger
So if your bones were unshatterable why would you need that to not take fall damage?
Mostly misplaced
drinking iron ore shouldnt increase ur natural defence, but it does in terraria
same with calcium
It's like strengthening titanium
It's literally made of bones
Real....
I'm gonna waste my damn time guys
You're already doing that
bro thinks he sisyphus
not anymore
sure
dear lord i've made 6 caloro drawings
brodie
hello
🚆
you forgot gabriel ultrakill
Here’s a better one
No
not only is he another gold jaw guy but he shares a voice actor (gianni matragano)
True that
Yeah but draedon is calm
And isn’t hell bent on killing some GoPro
I don’t know if you know this but It was a question
having the same voice actor should be more than enough
Draedon has a voice?
Oh, misread, but yes
I’m sure exo mechs or something he could fabricate would be on par with an android
Dr Gero has less pixels than he did have body parts after the androids killed him
whats going on in here
draedon thing that gets less comprehensible as time goes on
Trying to accurately represent Draedons personality
it's supposed to represent his personality?
would draedon win against chatgpt in a rap battle
Perchance
seems more like you were slapping on anything with even the most vague connection
Draedon personality: w h e e l c h a i r
what personality does a motorized wheelchair have
and in what god damn way is he similar to rick & doofenshmirtz
He’s a big brain
how many characters do you need to slap on it till you get the point across
Idk
Draedon probably
Draedon’s more like Nikola Tesla in a personality obsessed with discovery
Cei, I believe
if it was just one person that'd be a lot of dialogue to write within an update, i assumed it might've been multiple people
Tbf it was being written for a while
You don't know how busted Cei is
I think her original draft was a lot bigger
i'd guess it was a multi person thing but that's not exactly very helpful
But it was too big to fit in game
lore writing is a hard thing to get right, so i respect the hussle
i think it'll need another read-through since theres a few inconsistencies in character but its probably from there being a mix of old and new lore still in people's minds
Shayy wrote a bit of the dialog technically
iirc it was cei shayy and ozz who did the main parts of it
eee
Proof or chicken
or 🐥
Why can't we kill Yharim. I want to kill Yharim.
yharim isn't even out
whuddaheeel
No, he's clearly following the terrarian and shouts the lore segments out when you hold shift on the lore items
yeah I mean the bossfight
that dude is shitting himself
therefore he asked the devs to not be released
but not even eternity will last
Cat gender..... Infinite pronouns..........so cool.....
yes
Isn't the entire goal of calamity mod to beat up Yharim and his associates
yes of course
wait till
idk
2124
100 years
so that Yharim's crusade is complete
ok
Me at age 88
Yharim will be added at the end of the mod development
"oh cool yharims out"
how does terrarian know the names of the exo mechs if he didnt know the names of the basic mech trio?
They're wearing name tags
draedon might've just told you
I mean
Tbf
Nothing ingame tells you that the terrarian even knows any of the bosses's names
I'm pretty sure you get their names when you choose what mech to spawn first
Besides the one. They made. Ofc.
true ig
wait which?
Imagine if Moon lord doesn't live near the moon
And the terrarian just made their name up
the hardmode mechs
Terrarian didn't make the hardmode mechs though
The names
oh fine
Lore of terraria gets even harder to make a story out of if you assume the terrarian is an unreliable narrator
Draedon when we name shit:
computer, fetch me my list of slurs
Ye
Though I think that only gives their proper names and not their letter names
bro is an angel AND a cosmic engineer
moon lord sounds like something the terrarian would make up
i mean bro was imprisoned in the moon, he doesnt exactly reign over it
Also, what kind of name is "Wall of Flesh"? Terrarian really needs to do some research on what they're fighting...
More of an observation than a name
i mean an observation is probably the best on-the-fly name you can give something
a name is meant to identify something and idk if you've seen any other moving walls made out of flesh
Lots of things are named by what they are/do
like a cheese grate
it grates cheese
“Unholy meat obelisk”
"a physical decleration of mankind's contempt for the natural order"
Imagine if i talked about a COLGATOR GRATER that GRATES COLGATOR out of nowhere huh. Thqt would be FUCKWD UP
wall of brim
Bruhmstone Elemental
Are there lore devs among us in this moment
no
I have a question
amongst......
damn calamity lore really fell off.....
at least Colgator grate isnt a real thing
According to Draedon terrarian sucks at naming so yeah
Sometimes they’re around but most of the time no
What’s your question tho?
well neither is a cheese grater! Why would anyone make something to grate me with...... That's so evil
oh yeah? then explain what this is!
me sorry
bitch
What is the armor on the right?
AHHHHHHHHH
Your move Cheese
do we know the date of when The Terrarian starts their crusade?
I dont know, bu maybe we can find out based on the dates from draedon communication
The Crusade began on 6.19.1781. Draedon joined around twenty years later, on 4.23.1803.
Draedon was removed from Yharim’s service some time around 4.23.1875.
"My last interaction with Yharim was not even a year before I first observed you. He had come to me some months after his nearly fatal encounter with Braelor and Statis and requested that I enhance his Auric armor with my newly-invented exotechnology. We spoke little before he departed to the Dragon Aerie, and I believe him to still be there."
- Yharim’s armor was upgraded less than a year before the start of the game, and Braelor and Statis made their fateful assassination attempt only a few months before that.
Pretty please guys
I don't really know if we can deduce when the terrarian started his journey but i think an estimate can be made
👍
how the fuck did they up the contrast so much they made the gem look yellow in certain parts
remember
more bloom = the better
ARES FACE IS GREY
just ask aboood
AAAAA
waht
.
The zenith of my craft. The culmination of all I have ever accomplished. The result of over six hundred sixty years of research and scientific advancement. They are my magnum opus; a work of art. Simply calling them war machines would be an insult not just to me, but to them.
- Here’s an important line. Draedon goes into more detail on how long it has been since he was activated, placing the events of the game some time in the range of 11.19.1887-11.19.1897.
so the events most likely happen anywhere from 1887 to 1897
cowboy terrarian real
I wonder if we can narrow it down even more than that
we have a 10 year wiggle room
damn draedon really went and dropped a lore fucking supernova
