Guide:
A mysterious man with far more mysterious orgins. He possesses the unnatural ability of awareness to the use of any material, even if only discovered mere minutes ago. Many have grown used to his vast knowledge and not question it. Though the few who do speculate his borderline omniscience comes from something far more unnatural and sinister.

Merchant:
As the Godseekers war endured, A local merchant in Oak Grove had his business stagnate. His shop's slow death was swiftend however due to the goblin invasion, his shop and home was decimated. The merchant had no choice but to flee, still selling whatever wares he saved to those who showed interest.

Nurse:
The nurse was recruited into the Yharim’s army along with her husband. Her ability to treat the wounded was nearly unmatched by any other medics in the Godseekers army. She did however leave not too long after joining when it was made clear to her the soldiers exaggerated or sometimes injured themselves just to spend time with her.

This is neat but I feel like it puts too much importance on them. These should just be ordinary people who were living in the world and, while affected by the war, were not exceptionally important in it

The guide could just be some particularly wise survivalist, the nurse could have just been some random person living in some unseen town or small settlement, as could the merchant

Starting this I can tell the NPC's are going to be the hardest part of this whole project

I made one for the zombie enemy I really like though

Yharim’s war was costly not just in resources but also in lives. Many grieving loved ones attempt to bring their deceased back by using forbidden magic such as necromancy. Unfortunately for most, whether it was ignorance or pride, they failed casting the spell. Resurrecting the dead as blood hungry monsters with no other thought then to devourer any flesh they see.

Two problems with this.
1: Zombies are already established as a natural phenomenon. Corpses just come back to life or appear out of nowhere sometimes.
2: Necromancy is established as imperfect, it creates zombies even when the spell is cast correctly, you can just sometimes control the undead

I don't remember the lore stating that zombies are natural. if anything Calamitas' line where she says "These undead are horrific, I can't stand to look at them. How could anyone be satisfied with such amateur work?" seems to imply to me that they where the cause of necromancy
