Do we know who built the dungeon? Nothing in the lore doc that I could find really put a timeline on it. The Skeletron lore entry says that the Clothier trespassed on the dragon cult's "ancient library", which implies the Dungeon has been around for a while, but it doesn't confirm the dragon cult built it, just that they claimed it

But then again, he claims the tomes were "penned with misguided zeal," so maybe the Dragon Cult really did build the Dungeon originally as a library

Also, Yharim's entries say the leader of the Dragon Cult dreams of resurrecting a dragon, but we don't know who the leader is or how old they are, or even if that's the goal of the cult as a whole or just the leader

I wonder if the Dragon Cult was originally founded by a group of people who served the dragons during/immediately after Xeroc's ascension and saw the writing on the wall, so they tried to make a fortress to keep their records of the dragons in

We also know that Ceaseless Void dates back to the Golden Age of Dragons but that doesn't mean the Dungeon was that old; it could've been sealed there later
