The self-knockback is intended to be a safety barrier against bosses and knock back immune enemies to allow true melee weapons to do an entire fight alone
you don't need this
part of the skill of true melee is learning how to properly space attacks such that you don't get hit while your foe does. this sugg throws all of that training out the window and suggests a new mechanic to actively fight against people who learned how while not really helping people who didn't

time to type out the CV/Signus armor suggestion we'd (Altraxia, Weaslecake, me and another fellow who's name I don't remember) been brainstorming before

regardless
the main arguments are essentially
- consistency with SW armor
- despite that said stormweaver armor is a donor set it's still fairly odd there's no Signus/CV equivalent from a gameplay standpoint
- a chance for more variety in terms of armor options in the generally fairly barren post-moonlord (prehardmode has 39 armor sets, hardmode 43 but Post-Moonlord a mere 10 that you continuously swap out anyway)
3.5. Opportunity to add more class-specific Post-moonlord armor sets - more niche armor > more specialisation > more uniqueness
4.5. opportunity for more skill-based armor set bonuses

-8/s still chips your hp hard due to how long it lasts + other negative effects

also this doesn't negate all the effects of the debuffs, just the DoT
which is just celestial jewel
most sources of hex only give it for 2-3s
celestial jewel allows you to travel further into positive, this would just make it so your regen is the same no matter what

This is how i'd fix the sugg's grammar
Tweak Ravager's Rock Pillars
So, what's the problem with them you might say:
- They can hit the second they spawn, the most common situation being running away from the boss at full speed and get hit by the pillars.
- Dealing with them during Ravager's second phase is harder, considering Rav's speed, and again the pillars' ability to hit the player right when they spawn.
Perhaps make the pillars spawn further out to reduce the likeness of this happening, forcing the player to turn around yet not get hit unfairly when not trying to run in 1 direction.
It hit me at this distance
With their flying speed, it is most likely impossible to avoid the damage, even with RoD
(kinda impolite to rewrite somebody's entire suggestion)

i can dodge the pillars in DAD mode in phase 1 with 0 issues, on ph2 its trickier but i feel its caused more by the floating head and trying to avoid the head and Rav at the same time, causing you to jump into the pillars
doesn't rav lack contact damage in p2 unless it's stomping now also

When I saw the decompilation of clam, rarities were defined as custom field separate from vanilla rarities.
As all default custom rarities are Red.
And they change to Purple on reforge.
You would just need to check if item became Purple in tooltip rendering.
Reforging changing rarities is kinda weird anyways

Their intended purpose is more to be like an obstacle while fighting the minibosses, as they eat up all of your proj's pierce

Yeah I did quite a bit of testing on this. Modded + vanilla dashes interact weirdly and buggily.
However, two modded dashes like Asgard's Valor and Counter Scarf should just be determined by order of slots, which is what I'm seeing in game right now when testing
The lower slot takes dash priority

on a second read I think there's some core misunderstanding here
Rocket Boots are the ones providing "flight"
by equipping wings you are making the rocket boots activate on the single instance you jump, instead of having to jump then press again to activate rockets

I use angel treads
In defiled Bundle of balloons is better than MOAB due to it providing jump boost, making it used til Yharon (on nohits at least)

@distant gyro When I use Angel treads, the sponge, and the sandstorm jump from a bundle of balloons or sandstorm in a balloon, with the buff you get to movement speed after being hit and using the sandstorm jump at the same time, you can go really fast, hitting 91 mph. As soon as you equip any sort of wing, even in vanity, or you cannot do what I said above. If you would like, I don't mind demoing it to you since I may not be conveying what I mean through words clearly.
Maybe a post-ML upgrade to MOAB rather than an alternative upgrade to bundle

I think I prefer the Ozz method better by just making iron less relevant in most of the recipes and properly distribute it across the different PHM bars

The player themselves keeps coming back to life outta nowhere, I think spontaneous resurrection is the rule and not the exception

WoF can spawn naturally if you fuck around in hell and kill an unfortunately placed voodoo demon etc
its just that usually, the wiki helps the player know what to do and progress, without it they are prolly banished for eternal platinum mining until they get armor and ask themselves "what now" assuming they dont get an evil presence in the next night or so
Everything that doesn't naturally spawn tends to stick out. Lihzarhd altar looks pretty important if it's your first time seeing it

-All the lunar wings have better flight time than Seraph Tracers. You may run slower/be able to reach less heights (only for Nebula/Vortex), but that’s the trade off for better flight time and the bonuses for associating with the armor set.
Stardust in particular is the best one, as it gives you a max minion slot and 5% minion damage
