They’re problematic to make and especially to balance, and are unlikely to be implemented, especially if they’re complex. Legendary weapons lost their scaling in order to increase playthrough variety, so players don't use the same weapons throughout the entire game, on top of balancing reasons.

I was thinking of something more broad, but it's a doozy
and it could shake things up too much
My original idea was to have a crafting system where you could fuse 2 weapons together, for example you could fuse a waterbolt with a aqua scepter, but the trick is the way you fuse them matters, in my example whenever the waterbolt would bounce off a wall, it could shoot an aqua scepter blast as well and perhaps the other way around would be the aqua sceptre would shoot waterbolts as it traveled. The thing about the crafting is that you would need a certain item to 'fuel' the fusion of these weapons, maybe from a boss or crafted from boss materials of that point in the game. It would be progression based so the same 'tier' of weapons were compatible as well as being the same type of weapon (Melee, Magic, Ranged, Summon) from the vanilla game as this is complicated enough without taking into account Calamity bosses. It's mainly so that during the Pre-Moonlord part of the game vanilla weapons can still be useful even if the player has gotten a weapon from the mod that is better.
But that could be a mod in itself

when as an armor set, it doesn't give protection to fire related enemies
but obsidian rose/skull/skin potion
give fire/lava/burning block protection
it just doesn't make much sense
neither does hellstone. materials don't always correlate to armor effects. For example, Chlorophyte has nothing to do with healing despite relating to plants and growth.
also, gladiator armor has 15 defense in total, which is higher than any other pre-boss rogue armor. Higher than victide, wulfurm, and snow ruffian.

tbh I greatly dislike the idea of turning obsidian armor into a mining armor. the vanilla ore armors already give insanely high mining speed boosts, so if you wanna make another mining armor you have to make it compete with that. Additionally, if Calamity thought of obsidian being obtainable pre-boss as abuse, it would have been fixed long before now.
But obsidian armor is literally advertised pre-boss in the class setups page.
Hell, even vanilla phm ore armors are getting reworks
Head: +6% damage
Chest: +5% DR
Legs: +12% movement speed
Set: All enemies have a 4% chance to drop 1 gold. All bosses killed drop 3 gold.

Make Mana Sickness' penalty multiplicative and rebalance the effect if needed.
With how Mana Sickness works as an additive cut (reducing total damage bonuses), having them in early game is way more punishing (due to the lack of magic damage bonuses) compared to late game, where damage bonuses are brimming for mages. Having Mana Sickness be multiplicative (directly cutting current damage) would make the debuff consistently punishing throughout the game, and to keep mages from being overly broken later in the game.

A spreading biome is still more annoying. Gameplay > Lore
even if the suggestion doesn't technically break any rules, we are not going to make it spread regardless of how many stars it gets

The wings from snow ruffian armor set(set bonus) is a part of the armor set, while it is shown when the player wears the set in armor slot and hold spacebar while airborne, however the wings are not shown when the armor is put in vanity slot, which is disappointing and confuses players. Either make a seperate vanity item for said wings or make them show if you wear snow ruffian armor in vanity will fix this.```

Rework or Replace Unnecessary Melee/Fighter AI Enemies in the Post-Moonlord Moons/Solar Eclipse
The post-moonlord buffed events are very grindy, and I don't think this is due to a lack of things to get, but rather the enemy variety. In the Solar Eclipse, for example, the only things that will be able to touch you with your post-moonlord mobility are Mothron, Eyezore, and sometimes Nailheads--everything else is constrained to the ground, and just act as damage sponges until you have to land, which isn't frequently. This applies in the same way to the other events, with normal enemies being almost useless despite heavily buffed stats.
The Tier 3 Acid Rain, an event designed for post-Moonlord, is a great example of how to do this well. All the enemies shoot projectiles in some way, creating a dynamic and naturally flowing bullet hell that's interesting to dodge through while killing minibosses with more specific patterns and enemies in breaks between.
If these enemies were reworked or replaced with enemies with better anti-aerial capabilities, it would make these events a lot less grindy and a lot more interesting and challenging. Even just a few slow projectiles or projectiles on death.

80% of my post moonlord moons and solar eclipse are: Frost moon: ice queen,everrsdgf and santank, Pumpkin moon: pumpking and mourning wood solar eclipse: Eyezore,Mothron and nailheads
20%: other enemies
Eyezors and Nailheads are the best snipers in the game. Except maybe for the Ice Golem

No, they take five years to actually shoot you and will sometimes just plain shoot a wall.
Nailheads are the best at hitting you because they spit out as many nails as there are in a house in under 0.1 of a second

i should of explained yhat but as it is it only acts as a minor upgrade to the flower boots when i find the same-tiered upgrade to the same item easier to get
it feels like it is only used as an ingredient for the heart of the elements.

plus yhe 3% damage and tick speed is hardly enough at that point in the game when you can already inflict other much better debuffs

Tbf not all accs need to be usable for bossfights
At least Ankh Shield materials at least have a niche, as situational as they are
HotE mats literally don't have anything worth as accs
when was the last time you used diving helmet for a boss fight
or flippers

And that applies to all hote materials except chaos stone and air stone if you're lazy and won't bother with frogleg
