To be fair, the original recipe had Uelibloom Bars as part of it, along with cores of sunlight. A lot of the other stuff in it I put together as an idea of crafting it from scratch (Similar to making a sword, or if you want a few gun options, the Vortex Beater, Magna Blaster and Opal Striker). While there are a few weapons that are made purely out of raw materials, for a late game weapon like this, it feels a bit weird that the gun has no actual weapon components. Furthermore, the lack of any sort of metal in the recipe makes it seem very out of place, as one would question what exactly things like the barrel are actually crafted out of. Simply utilizing one of Calamity's or even Terraria's undervalued shotguns in its place would help a lot. Tactical Shotgun, Conference Call, and Animosity could all be good candidates for components for this weapon. Even the recently recipe orphaned Aquashard Shotgun would be fine.
