i dont think the problem is that the moons r harder

but im 100% sure they literally drop less

because when u get into the late versions of it (past wave 30 when it starts counting points instead) it only spawns either pumpkings/mourning woods or ice queens/everscreams which are slower to kill and thus drop less

eclipse just throws all the shit at u thats why u get more darksun fragments

it would probably just be easier to change the recipe but they could also make it so after wave 30, everything spawns unrestricted so you can just kill everything and get ur fragments

My biggest issue with this suggestion is the idea of locking one boss behind another

Which is directly against the suggestion's argument of having a repetitive experience

also unlocking the boss at the same time as the first treasures of the abyss is kinda fitting

Two things with this that I don't think anyone pointed out:

• Slime God being summonable Pre-Skeletron isn't an "issue" as far as I'm aware, and simply gives the player more non-linear choices. It's in the same vein as being able to fight the current Evil2 bosses or even Skeletron as your first boss if you felt like it
• Overloaded Sludge doesn't need materials from the Evil2 Bosses to be crafted? It just requires Blighted Gel and your world's Evil Stone, both of which can be obtained before any bosses have been defeated. If this is also supposed to be suggesting that Overloaded Sludge should use Evil2 materials then it's not very clear imo and you'd have to restructure this significantly

if only there was like, I don't know, a special loadout system you could take advantage of to automatically swap between all your accessories and armor at once

and also you have stuff like hooks still if you need to move around a lot and don't want to swap back for whatever reason

i don't really care about this suggestion itself, i mean i guess it would be nice to have better fishing accessories, no downside to it (especially with how much fucking fishing i do), but the reasoning is very weak
