personally i use the one that includes more stats like defense and targeting and such which looks like shit but i like having the extra info even if it's just slapped on top of vanilla's but you can't act like vanilla's is somehow smaller than calamity's

Photosynthesis is one of them because it's just Valkyrie Ray on steroids and it does everything by itself

yeah, they've done a great job moving away from that over time though

the one that are copies are because all basic guns will kinda naturally be similar unless they are given unique flashy effects
mage gets the deal with water bolt 2 and 3 and green golden shower

At least the megashark copies can now have actually unique ammo inside

the weapons in vanilla are supposed to be like, diversed atleast with crowd control, dps dealer , etcetc
Infinite pierce is just handed out for free starting like. early hardmode
although vanilla does fold it itself with some weapons like aqua cepter and golden shower and the flower weapons (flower of fire, frost and cursed flames)
I feel like this is most noticable in OOA tier 3. I know a lot of people don't do OOA, but as someone who does the difficulty between master mode vanilla OOA, and master mode death OOA in calamity is night and day. IMO you are literally forced to use sentry armor and multiclass to beat master vanilla OOA, where in calamity you can just play your normal class and change nothing

i confused astral staff and astralchnea staff or whatever the fuck it is
venom staff but we make the projectile homing

I feel like astral is inherently in a bad position to be for an armor
its an omniclass armor, which means its basically a 3 class armor. and it's gets extremely powerful competition only one boss later
like, what niche do you give astral where it isnt actively competing with a more specialized armor

I know astral has reworks planned in the future, but I'm unsure what effects they plan to keep for it so I might as well make this suggestion
they can't make it give omniscience because then they'd have to give the actual armor pieces stats

astral rn is the armor equivelent of a stat stick
It’s identity is copying other things
where changing it to omniscience not only fits in with astrals otherwise combat focused effects by highlighting projectiles, but also keeps the weird exploration effects. And it's nice to save the player some potion farming
Hence all of the weapons being other ones but with a astral coat of paint
like, it gives stats, those stats are good, it can compete with later items if it uses those stats effectively, its not really that much beyond that though

it's about weapons being sold later in progression for recipes, such as those from the wizard and arms dealer, and demon scythe being noticablt missing from the list

Make Demon Scythe Sold by the Wizard
Calamity makes the wizard sell a variety of weapons later into the game for use in late game recipes when certain enemies become less common. This is mostly seen in the dungeon drops of spectre staff, inferno fork, shadowbeam staff, and magnet sphere. Demons in hell become noticeably less common in hardmode with the introduction of red devils, hellbats, mimics, and other hardmode enemies. They additionally become even less common post ML with the introduction of profaned enemies. Adding Demon Scythe to the wizards shop in hardmode, or optionally even later in progression would allow the player to utilize the weapons that require it such as Recitation of the Beast without having to enter a pre hardmode world for reasonable spawn rates.
why not just make red devils drop demon scythe too
and I feel it makes sense, but I also kinda disagree with these weapons being sold in the first place as like, dungeon farming is not bad at all especially not with spawn increases. So although it fits with consistency I kinda don't like the established consistenct to begin with

Make Crackshot Colt and Midas Prime "ricoshots" target players in PVP
The Crackshot Colt and Midas Prime have the unique function of being able to throw a coin in the air, then shooting the coin with the gun to quickly launch it at a nearby enemy. However, this function only works on enemies, and does not work at all in PVP. While several homing or semi-homing aspects of weapons don't work in PVP (homing bullets and summons, to name a few), having the main feature of the guns not work whatsoever in this situation makes these weapons rather pointless when fighting against other players. As such, I propose that the right click ability can target players to provide a more unique option in PVP.

He is not something that should be shown to the player before the fight, but rather told. Let the player imagine what this gargantuan serpent looks like, how the tales paint him to be an insurmountable force, a monster that no God could fell. And when the player looks to the sky and sees that gigantic monstrosity, they understand why the tales about him were so high.
Maybe some heavy (but short lived) distortion around the area after you get the loot and go out?
Tho those are just stuff i thought about in 10 seconds they arent exactly elaborate so probably not good ideas

Notifying is a part of the delivery chain so that actually gives me a little better of an idea as to where something went wrong
If I had to guess
It’s probably getting rate limited again 
But this time with a different request
Good news is it’s offline so:
a. The logs are safe (I won’t be able to check them for a minute)
b. None of the Suggs were actually forwarded so they couldn’t be forwarded incorrectly
Although I’m fairly confident this is another ratelimit issue
Either the library I use has had some updates or Discord has had some updates, but certain requests are causing the bot to get rate limited because the library doesn’t know how its supposed to route them to Discord
Explanation from people who know a lot more about it than I do:
I’m guessing I will likely just need to add that same method as a wrapper for some other requests too
