the "transition" was he glowed white while healing, and continued attacking you while invulnerable which was
a decision to be sure
people only miss it because they dont remember how bad it was

Nerf the i-frames of Celestial Tracers
Celestial tracers have an effect where if you take over 200 damage in a single hit, they grant 30 iframes. This is an extra half second of time where you are unable to be damaged, on top of the 2/3s of a second by default. Nearly every attack dealt by the bosses at this stage deals more than this much damage, except with the tankiest builds, which makes this mechanic a terrible way to nerf this accessory. As such, your iframes are nearly doubled by this one accessory.
A similarly tiered accessory that grants iframes, rampart of deities, grants only 20 more for a maximum of 50 and is known for being broken even with just this many. Along with this, rampart’s iframes stack with celestial tracers and other effects, resulting in some incredibly powerful tanking abilities.
This already powerful effect is put on top of an endgame flight accessory, granting a large amount of flight and other mobility benefits. This combination of effects is too powerful to put on a single accessory, and leads to celestial tracers being an extremely powerful accessory that flips the meta of wings being better than tracers purely because of this effect. Along with this, there is no foundation in any of tracers downgrades to justify giving them any iframes at all, let alone this many. No other set of wings grants the same benefits that celestial tracers do.
To return the balance between these tracers and the wings on the same tier, I suggest reducing the amount of iframes given. This would allow the tracers to keep their unique effect without making them the powerhouse of an accessory that they currently are.

its a combo of both
its the hazard immunity line at the highest level which uses the auric bar
if boots really have hazard immunity line it should make you trap immune too, or astral ore immune

the tldr of the extent of boots being immunity line is just it having lava waders, nothing in its material indicating it should have more than what lava waders provide

for a lot of reasons, not least of which that it's a "don't"
A lot of people don't like how they don't have an easy summon method beyond "Kill this enemy in the Ocean", and a decent amount of people just prefer to not have to wait a lot
I do agree that perhaps there could be an alternate method, but just a "click-to-spawn" item for them is probably the worst way it could be done

You don't because why do you need to? It's fine as is
And also you can dodge the laser walls without being in between the grids
And not to mentioj the game gives you plenty of space. Hell, infernum dog limits it severely and get it gives you enough space to reasonably dodge the laser walls
yeah the problem with laser walls is not related to the width of the gap at all
Id argue the gap is even a bit large and too forgiving tbh
it is more that it basically comes without warning and only have a very short telegraph at that which require basically photographic memory unless you are ready 24/7

I don't even dodge the laser walls the intended way I just fly straight up while making adjustments horizontally to adjust for each pattern
The reason I'm cool with the laser walls as it minus the lack of telegraph is because you don't have to dodge them as intended

I don't even count the seconds I just have a feel for when they happen + I stay close to dogs head for the fight so I see the dissapear thing

I'm surprised you didn't outright mention that having a town on the ocean to make use of the Ocean Pylon would cause ???'s spawn rate to decrease, making it difficult to fight her
and a spawn rate boost would compensate for the hostile mob decrease, or making her be considered a passive critter for that purpose
rather instead using it as an opportunity to make her more refightable, presumably implying that the rate would be even higher when near a town than if there was no town at all?
It feels like this would be stronger as a kind of "fix" suggestion
tho maybe what I'm describing isn't actually a problem? I'm not sure how large the town radius is VS where ??? usually spawns

I keep forgetting that pylon reduce spawn rate because that is such an odd function to me, since usually town already reduce hostile spawn rate so it always feel to me is a double down

@abstract forge balancing is much more complicated than just "nerf weapon", there are weapon that are good and weapon that are bad; there are accessories that way overtuned for the progression that can make bad weapon look good; there are build variety where people build full dps or full tank; there are potion, buffs, or even external mod buffs like AlchemistNPC Lite that we literally don't know if the player is using, and for each boss different weapon also works differently where a piercing/homing/aoe weapon literally can be 5x as effective on specific bosses while do nothing on others
in fact chances are what you said is attributed to some specific overtuned weapon instead of majority of the weapon, because you have to use every single weapon to know if all of them should be tuned down

buff lunatic cultist is sure why not, but the way the suggestion suggested buff is definitely strange:
i) LC is getting a massive HP buff next patch
ii) projectile travel faster specifically for cultist will be extremely frustrating, because it is a circle boss; projectile travelling faster basically put a gear cap rather than a skill cap
iii) ancient doom already don't give you time to react (phase 2), phase 1 is whatever
iv) out of anything I never thought lunatic cultist have the problem of "too little damage", multiple of its attack inflict super strong debuff and deal very high damage
meanwhile the 3 proposed moveset change:
- cultist's attack overlap with other attack, making lightning bolt fire more bolt will just be frustrating to dodge
- ice blast is the same, just remember you have to dodge other attack while dodging the ice blast (specificailly in phase 2 you will have to dodge ancient doom and ice blast together)
- is ok, but they need to make dragon (illusion phase) actually not trivial first
- currently you literally just spray in the general direction because you can't hit the wrong clone

The issue was less of moving Evil-2, the issue was more of Evil-2 is too close to Evil-1
So the proposed solution was to move some stuff in between, but that was frowned upon because it was just as bad
