Remove the Calamity Mod
The Calamity Mod feels very unfinished. The final boss has not been added, multiple of its sprites are outdated, it has lots of plans that aren't being implemented at this time, and it is rife with bloat. I believe it would be best for the mod if it was removed.

I think 1.4.4 Night's Edge is projectile melee
The blade itself doesn't do any damage, and relies on projectiles to actually be of use
Like, if the projectile cap was hit (somehow), it'd be crippled, whereas if it were true melee, the blade would still work fine regardless
if it was just the closer of the 2 swings id consider it true melee, but since it has the extra distance slash thats separate from the first one its not true melee

there are 3 mods here depend on what you want:
The first light blue/cyan colour one showing boss name and boss kill time is Nycro Nohit Efficiency
The show "You were above minimum nohit length" and orange colour Average DPS is Toasty's Calamity QoL
The final red colour text showing average DPS etc is Calamity Tester Helper Mod (which I am not sure is public)
but yeah this is not the right channel to ask since this channel is for suggestion; #help-advice-read-pins or #calamity-mod-talk probably will get faster response

has anyone made a suggestion over removing Calclone's Hellblast projectile acceleration during her BHs yet?
it used to accelerate much faster and is deliberately nerfed, and I think it is already nerfed sufficiently
still causes unfair hits when they accelerate out of nowhere
made worse in BH2 when fireblasts are thrown into the mix
fireblasts force you to move around a lot more, which is then punished by the hellblasts randomly speeding up
BH1 is definitely fine; you are supposed to dodge in a small area from your initial position when hellblast starts; that way they literally do not accelerate
the problem is more that in BH2 the fact that fireblast exist is very poorly thought out; fireblast should NOT fire like how it currently is: literally on top of the player
this force the player to move therefore cause hellblast to accelerate
so if someone is to suggest to change something about BH2 I will rather it be to adjust fireblast (which is the real problem) than hellblast acceleration (which really is not a problem)
because the acceleration will be needed because unlike scal the player can run god it (and then still can even with acceleration)
if anything I think they should like place a "beacon" when BH starts that mark an area that you are supposed to dodge the projectiles in (basically scal arena except less strict and during BH only); and the projectiles only massively accelerates outside the arena
I had that idea in my head, a temporary box during the BH phases

- it let you get martian plating earlier for cool building shit and for crafting the martian distress beacon
