So I was bombarded by cloud elementals while sky fishing today and had an idea, elementals are suppossed to be either very rare or one of a kind like anahita in the lore right?

This works with the lore in two ways:

we need something other than a favoritable item to block spawns
Lore point aside the point is just having an item to disable the elemental spawns, as conditional as they are they can still be annoying

because there are additional ways you can convey a boss having multiple health bar, such as just having the HP bar have a different effect, eg: instead of the bar emptying out just have the bottom bar instead slowly filled with a "red bar" (normal full HP bar is yellow and then as the boss get damaged it become empty); therefore you know for sure something is not normal
especially that the boss is dying way faster than expected

Eh, I disagree. The issue is in fact from lack of consistency. If every boss you meet has exactly 2 healthbars, you are aware of this design choice and plan accordingly. Adding a few bosses with 2 healthbars within the 1 healthbar game feels special, but also is exactly what causes frustration and uncertainty
though to be clear, I did like yharon's 2 healthbars because they were thematically reflected and didn't affect total fight duration
the question is if every boss have 2 health bar then at that point just make it 50% max hp instead yes

I think the best transition should be that yharon gain 99% DR but have a "hidden health bar" where once it depleted yharon transition to phase 2 and start taking damage
and have a chat message pop up during the fight saying like "your pathetic attempt at trying to hurt a god do not work"

A small note: The only real difference between the two big slimes in the Slime God fight is the projectiles that are fired after the jump attack, aside from that they are the same boss.
