Whenever you equip it in a vanity slot, the tooltip gets changed to "equipped in social slot, no stats will be gained"

I think that this should be turned off for accessories and armor that are purely vanity

So no matter where you equip them, they retain their tooltip

But accessories and armor that affect the player's stats will still have the "equipped in social slot" tooltip when equipped as vanity

Its a really minor thing but it wouldn't be hard to do right

What are people's thoughts on the point NPC's sell weapons?, namely arms dealer and wizard. For reference, arms dealer and wizard sell all post plantera dungeon weapons after killing golem. It makes sense to not make them immediately purchasable post plantera, or you would have no reason to go to the dungeon, but it just feels so weird having them post golem. If the weapons are good enough to be used then you will want them for all the bosses between plantera and golem, so you still need to farm if you want to use them. The only use is because the drops are materials for post golem things, which at that point you are best off skipping the dungeon, using other weapons, and then just buying the drops for crafting post golem.

Maybe I am overthinking this, but it just feels like buying them post golem is weird and incentivizes you to just skip getting them when they are relevant

idk, it could be something like Party debuff, "the enemy is excited", increases enemy movement speed, reduces contact damage. It was just an idea I had while looking through debuff related items, I'm not super dedicated to the idea, and might remove it if I feel compelled/convinced otherwise
