everytime something is said to happen "eventually" the mod's next update is delayed by a Decade

Doing anything to profaned enemies except toggling the spawns would not work well enough
Unicorns are rare enough that even zerg+chaos candle only spawns them every few minutes if at all
No reason to make farming unholy essence even more time consuming either

I'm trying to nohit Yharon in death mode and this attack keeps killing me, I'm past 200 attempts now
I personally have quite literally never had an issue with the projectile trail attack ever
Only issue I have with the fight is the slow bullet hells
it's usually fine, but when he does it in a bullet hell it seems unfair

After the bhs he does a projectile trail based on player position
Either mostly omnidirectional or horizontally that leaves the little "geysers"
It's manipulatable if you don't want that
And you can always just.... Dash away from Yharon instead of into him for that atttack

if you dash away from him when he is dashing at you wouldn't that make you stay extremely close to him or even in his hitbox?
I mean that's usually not an issue for me
I generally play aggressive with Yharon so I use that to my advantage
I've fought Yharon over 500 times now so I have experience with subphase 5
The way i usually do the bullet hells is get him to start them on one side of the arena and then move to the opposite side
you can manipulate the projectile dash for it to miss completely
you just have to line up horizontally to yharon, wait for the projectile trail (dash) to happen then you start falling down
is the attack hard? yes, is it undodgeable? no
so the tldr of this suggestion is mostly just a nerf rather than "fix unreasonable attack" I will say
I don't find the omnidirectional dashes unreasonable in any regard even if I get caught in a bad position
in fact that one (bullet hell then projcetile trail) I think is still fine, hardest one for me is when Yharon do Bullet Hell - Flare - Double charge

I think it is like, subphase 5? the first phase (in phase 2) of death mode and second phase (in phase 2) of revengeance mode
this is the sequence I am referring to
bullet hell -> flare -> double charge -> bullet hell -> trail dash

And they don't dissapear when Yharon transitions between subphases which is very rude and annoying and can make getting into a good spot in ph7 without getting hit harder than it needs to be
i've never seen yharon do the flare ring inside of a bullet hell, i think bc of my weapon i get straight into subphase 6
he just does 3 flare rings in a row usually

they removed transition invincibility and give yharon DR instead and it is not enough
phangasm is top tier weapon on yharon, like one of the best, so it make sense
i'm still well within the minimum nohit limit for yharon, but subphase 6 is like 90% of the second phase for me
for reference the "intended killtime" of yharon is 4 minute compare to "minimum nohit length" of yharon which is 2 minute
so supposedly subphase 5 (usually) should last a while
but yeah this is off topic since this is not even the attack the suggestion is talking about
i also use adren at the start of phase 2 so that probably changes it a bit lol
that is instant melt into subphase 6 basically yeah
I thought there was something after subphase 6 because it seems like he gets way faster at like 15%, but i guess subphase 6 just has a lot of attacks

That'll cause him to miss the aimed projectile dash
Avoid lining up with Yharon horizontally
After a bh (in p2), you should be under Yharon's X axis
This way, you can avoid the trail dash or the carpet bomb more easily
The bullet charge he does is significantly easier to dodge than his regular ones. I don't even have to dash most of the time he does it, just move out of the way instead of dashing into him. Also if he's doing it during a bullet he'll you could use the normality relocator to dodge it
But yeah that attack is like the only one I haven't gotten hit by when fighting him
I think a better solution would be a different sound for the bullet charge than the regular charge

well the life drain is like, basically the only valid reason; things like "a summoner lifesteal weapon" when melee already have high defense, ranger can get healing later from like bloodflare arrow, mage just have a lot of healing set, rogue has a lot of healing gear.. and so on
but turns out lifesteal is really overpowered so you need to have better reason as to why they should add one

there is always a cost for "combining items", which is why very little of these items exist
because in terraria there is no cost: you just get on progression and you get the item
for example of "combined item effect" just look at Rampart of Deities which is probably the single most overpowered defense accessory in the game, for the simple reason that it combine so many useful effect into one
having like fungal clump/crystal/HOTE combination (or so called "helper minion combined accessory") is basically the samething

currently you have plantera 2 rod, then golem like 5 rod then DoG 10 rods
I don't want to have to get all of that stuff just for one crate drop

I think problem is not quite the lethal part (you can get very tanky), it is more of the idea that in order for this accessory to do (anything) you are required to get hit
just even worse in calamity since you could had gotten an Adrenaline instead

Total loss from using quick mana = 75% loss, total DPS 425%
and that is assuming you regen your mana bar within 2 seconds, and it is not like mana regen is an automatic function either, you have to see your mana bar running out and stop firing to regen (same input as quick mana, you have to see you dont have mana first)
