@cedar vine The issue with that idea is that, because wings aren’t considered separate in vanilla, the game and all its mods are balanced around not having that accessory slot. Adding a wing slot is the same as adding an accessory slot with no downsides as soon as you have wings to use, so I don’t understand the difference between wing slot and adding a new accessory slot with more complications, if one sees wings as essential (not to downplay their importance).
