You'd need a new world in general since Infernum not only adds the lost colosseum but the reworked abyss and the garden that occasionally eats your vernal pass. Trying to play infernum on a basecal world will brick your abyss otherwise though bereft vassal isn't required for progression thankfully.

making Lucky Purity work is incredibly difficult and only relevant in really loony challenge runs

overall, there is a twngible difference between whether lucky or menacing is better but it’s usually extremely minor and changes all the time based on setup, playstyle, boss, and weapon choice

the only time the difference is actually major is stealth rogue (lucky is almost always better) and summoner (menacing is almost always better)

needless to say though it’s pointless to think about because defensive reforges are so much better
