The point of the dashing isn't to really do damage to him.

It's more that ram-dashing, like with Asgard's Valor, makes you immune to contact damage for a very brief period. It's the easiest way to 'dodge' his attacks.

like seriously i have no idea why exo mechs are lagging still

the worst part with infernum calamitas is that there are some attacks that feel entirely luck based purely because some of the things in them are hard to see

like the one where calamitas spins a single laser around is annoying because i always get the weird birds spawning on top of where i am without even being able to see them, and then there are so many circles from the exploding projectiles during the bullet spam attack in 3rd and 4th phase that i can't see anything

and the worst part is that i just got to the second part in the desperation phase, but my headphones died so terraria crashed
