Honestly king slime is the boss that took me the most attempts (not too many) before skeletron

Skeletron took me quite a while because I didn't understand the sort of game it wanted me to play. But I learned, and it's pretty easy and fun when you learn it

in infernum so far it's pbg, eol, twins, signus, providence, profaned guardians

I'm expecting infernum to force you to play a specific playstyle as I just did with king slime

I just finished beating exo mechs, and while they were by far the hardest boss (still need to do scal), they were really fun

the Twins are a massive downgrade in infernum though, those desperation phases are utter bullshit

Hmm, not exactly? For example even king slime has multiple playstyles you can do, like some prefer just jumping to dodge the crystal, and they tend to go farther away

HOWEVER there are some attacks that are way easier to dodge in one specific way, especially in bullet hell focused bosses. Less so in dash-centric bosses.

i picked the twins and ares, then i basically just went to the bottom of my arena, and flew into artemis until i hit space, at which point their second attack started, in both variations you can just slimy saddle down and repeat

I'm not particularly great at solo twins so I picked ares first, which wasn't too bad (even if sometimes I died to some of his big attacks still), then did ares twins, solo Thanatos, and then killed ares

then dragon rage shreds ares because theres like 5 seconds where hes charging that small laser and the twins are by his side, i switched to dragon pow and then after the laser ended i went downwards, started the next cycle with ares and he got shredded
