You could use both, too. Stardust dragons scale weirdly so using one to three in addition to another summon can lead to better results than going all in on one or the other

But good enough is fine, you'll still get wicked fast times easily

Spikecrags require some advanced gameplay to function since you need to have them in such a spot in which most of the projectiles hit

It's comparatively difficult to do but gets the fastest killtime

Using something more basic like terraprismas, stardust cells, wither blossoms, or stardust dragons can be good enough and much easier

Heck, you could even use like, xenos or hydrothermic armor or astral hives. All of them get a fast time. Experiment with what you like

For now you can stick with terraprismas and if it doesn't work out or if you find it boring, you can branch out

the only bosses that were miserable were like skeletron (mostly because i hate the changes in general, not the difficulty), cultist and moon lord

cultist is prob very easy but i had to switch to warding because getting 3 shotted wasnt fun

and the fight is ass even if very very short
